Chuck Schumer Creates Tip Line For Aspiring Brownshirts. It Backfires In Spectacular Fashion.

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) claimed on Monday that he had created a portal for “whistleblowers” who wanted to help root out “corruption, abuses of power,” and other egregious oversteps made by people in power.

“Today, I’m calling on our brave public servants: I’m launching a new portal for anyone who wants to expose corruption, abuses of power, and threats to public safety with the legal protections of being a whistleblower,” his post on X read.

Aside from the obvious argument that there is already a protected process in place for federal government whistleblowers — and the portal Schumer made is literally hosted by one political party — critics saw Schumer’s effort for what it was: a recruitment ad for aspiring brownshirts who could help the Democrats complain harder about President Donald Trump and Elon Musk.

But instead of reporting Trump — because, as even CBS News had to admit over the weekend, the American people believe he’s delivering on his campaign promises — or Musk for uncovering waste and fraud within the federal government, people started reporting Democrats and even Schumer himself.

A number posted video of Schumer, standing outside the Supreme Court and threatening Justices Brett Kavanaugh and Neil Gorsuch.

“You have released the whirlwind and you will pay the price! You won’t know what hit you if you go forward with these awful decisions!” Schumer shouted at the time.

The Federalist’s Mollie Hemingway went so far as to fill out the information directly in Schumer’s portal, noting in one of the fields that she wasn’t sure whether his actions that day qualified as “retaliation” or just “criminal activity.”

Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) also weighed in, saying, “Great! I wanna report: Joe Biden Kamala Harris Chuck Schumer And the entire corrupt Democrat party that weaponized & abused the federal government for the past four years.”

Chris Martenson took a different tack, reporting Dr. Anthony Fauci for “criminal activity” — although he also conceded that there were elements of “fraud” and “wasteful spending” — for his role in covering up reports about the origins of the COVID pandemic.
