EXCLUSIVE: New Footage Shows UN Convoy Driving Into Mob Of Gazans, Casualties Reported

Video obtained by The Daily Wire shows a chaotic scene in southern Gaza last Thursday as Gazans swarmed a United Nations aid convoy.
In the footage, more than a dozen trucks — led by vehicles marked with UN insignia — are seen entering a dense crowd along the Morag route. A mob then climbs onto the truck and loots the aid as the convoy attempts to pass through.
An Israeli Defense Forces spokesman told The Daily Wire that the military received reports of casualties that day in the same area involving aid trucks and internal clashes among Gazans.
“On Thursday, a gathering of Gazans was identified approaching aid trucks in the area of the Morag route in the southern Gaza Strip,” the spokesperson said. “There are reports of casualties resulting from aid trucks driving through the crowd and internal clashes among Gazans in the area.”
The spokesman noted that the incident is still under examination.
At this time, it has not been confirmed whether the casualties reported by the IDF are connected to the events captured in the video.
The footage emerges as European governments, congressional Democrats, and left-leaning media outlets intensify pressure on the Trump administration to halt support for the U.S.-backed Gaza Humanitarian Foundation, arguing the United Nations is better equipped to deliver aid safely and effectively.
A leaked memo from the BBC reportedly reveals that it instructed its staff to slant reporting against the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation. The memo from June 25 told staff that “the argument over how much aid has crossed into Gaza is irrelevant,” adding that “we should say” the current distribution system “doesn’t work.”
Israel says it has placed no limits on UN aid coming into Gaza, noting that hundreds of truckloads of aid recently remained undelivered, sitting for weeks in the sun.
The UN blames Israeli restrictions for the delays, while Israeli officials point to the UN’s failure to retrieve and distribute supplies, as well as widespread looting by gangs before the aid reaches distribution centers.
Humanitarian groups have refused IDF security escorts for aid convoys, the Associated Press reported.
Meanwhile, the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation is on track this week to distribute its 100 millionth meal since starting operations on May 26. While the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation has far fewer distribution centers and resources than the United Nations, the organization says its goal is to supplement existing humanitarian efforts, not replace them.
Last week, the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation offered to help the UN distribute aid, but the offer has gone unanswered. Instead, the UN has continued to vilify the group.
GHF has been tasked with implementing President Donald Trump’s aid initiative, designed to ensure that humanitarian assistance reaches Gazan civilians while preventing Hamas from seizing supplies — a problem that has persisted since the war began following the group’s October 7, 2023, attack on Israel.
Last month, terrorists threw grenades at the American security contractors staffing Gaza Humanitarian Foundation sites, leaving two injured. The Gaza Humanitarian Foundation believes that Hamas was behind the attack.
“Yesterday, GHF marked the 4th of July with 60 million meals delivered on behalf of America — and a wish for Gaza’s independence from fear and terror,” GHF said in a statement at the time. “Hamas responded by throwing grenades at two Americans feeding hungry families. Violence is always their answer to hope.”
Despite the incident, the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation says distributions at its sites have largely proceeded without security incidents.
