‘Kill ICE’: Foreign Flags And Fires Sweep LA As Riots Erupt Against Immigration Enforcement

Los Angeles and surrounding areas have exploded in riots as anti-immigration enforcement demonstrators, many touting foreign flags, set fires and attack federal officials.

The Department of Homeland Security posted a video to social media on Saturday displaying some of the scenes from Los Angeles-area riots that have broken out over immigration enforcement operations taking place.

The chaotic scenes from the riots are overlaid with remarks from Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass accusing federal immigration officials of sowing “a sense of terror” by arresting illegal aliens.

“The violent targeting of law enforcement in Los Angeles by lawless protestors is despicable,” Homeland Security said in a post. “Mayor Bass, ICE is not responsible for ‘sowing a sense of terror’ the protestors YOU enabled are.”

Some of scenes from the video show graffiti messages such as “f*** ICE” next a symbol for Antifa, “Death to Colonialist Domination,” “Death to Amerikka,” and “Dead Cops” with a smiley face drawn into the “o” in “Cops.”

Other videos show mass demonstrations with people flying foreign flags. Demonstrators blocked roadways and faced off with law enforcement. In one video, multiple Mexican flags can be seen interspersed in a crowd of protesters.

In a video shot in Compton, California, a demonstrator appears to be setting fire to a vehicle in an intersection while another person touting a Mexican flag stands nearby.

A rioter injured at least one Customs and Border Patrol agent after pelting the agent’s vehicle with rocks, one of which smashed through the vehicle’s windshield and caused a bloody cut on the agent’s hand.

A crowd of demonstrators surrounded a bus carrying federal agents. Protesters stood in front of the bus and acted as if attempting to push it back while the bus slowly crept forward. Some of the protesters in the area carried Mexican flags.

On Friday, hundreds of people surrounded the Edward Roybal Federal Building in downtown Los Angeles. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) described the riot as “anti-ICE” and said its agents were “vastly outnumbered” by violent demonstrators.

ICE Acting Director Todd Lyons said the Los Angeles Police Department “took over two hours” to respond to requests for assistance as the federal building was attacked and ICE agents were threatened. A message left in the wake of the riot read “Kill ICE” along with an Antifa symbol.

Fibis I am just an average American. My teen years were in the late 70s and I participated in all that that decade offered. Started working young, too young. Then I joined the Army before I graduated High School. I spent 25 years in, mostly in Infantry units. Since then I've worked in information technology positions all at small family owned companies. At this rate I'll never be a tech millionaire. When I was young I rode horses as much as I could. I do believe I should have been a cowboy. I'm getting in the saddle again by taking riding lessons and see where it goes.
