Alec Baldwin Crashes Wife’s Range Rover Into A ‘Big Fat Tree’

Actor Alec Baldwin was involved in a car accident on Monday alongside his younger brother, Stephen Baldwin.

The 67-year-old confirmed that he crashed his wife Hilaria’s Range Rover in East Hampton, New York, on Monday morning, as he posted an update on social media.

“This morning, I was in this car accident. The guy cut me off in a truck, big garbage truck — I mean a garbage truck the size of a whale … it was the biggest garbage truck I’ve ever seen,” Baldwin said in the video update. “To avoid hitting him, I hit a tree. I hit a big fat tree and crushed my car, my wife’s car.”

The actor said he felt “bad” for totaling his wife’s car and thanked first responders for their help following the accident. Neither Alec nor Stephen was injured.

“My wife’s car is pretty smashed up. Big tree, big fat tree,” he repeated.

The celebrity brothers were in town for the Hamptons International Film Festival, which began on October 5 and wrapped up on Monday.

Baldwin also mentioned his wife, saying, “Hilaria, I love you more than anything. I’m very proud of you.”

He ended the video by saying, “I’m going to LA to see my family, can’t wait. I’m going out to California to gather my family, to spend a few days there and then I’m home,” and joked that he was “fine” other than being crazy, which he indicated by pointing at his head making a circular motion.

Photos of the aftermath obtained by TMZ show the Baldwin brothers standing beside the smashed vehicle. There are also images of the white Range Rover smashed up against the tree.

Hilaria has also been making headlines after being eliminated from “Dancing With the Stars,” which she claimed was due to “very coordinated, very strategic bullying.”

Fibis I am just an average American. My teen years were in the late 70s and I participated in all that that decade offered. Started working young, too young. Then I joined the Army before I graduated High School. I spent 25 years in, mostly in Infantry units. Since then I've worked in information technology positions all at small family owned companies. At this rate I'll never be a tech millionaire. When I was young I rode horses as much as I could. I do believe I should have been a cowboy. I'm getting in the saddle again by taking riding lessons and see where it goes.
