AOC Says "Woke 1 Was Crazy" — Then MSNOW's Own Host EXPLODES!

AOC Says "Woke 1 Was Crazy" — Then MSNOW's Own Host EXPLODES! AOC went on ABC's This Week and said four words that are now everywhere: "Woke 1 was crazy." But moments later, Jonathan Karl asked her one more question — and her answer gives the whole thing away. StateofDaniel, State of Daniel

She told Karl that Wisconsin governor candidate Francesca Hong has "moved away" from calls to abolish the police and abolish prisons. Then Karl asked if she'd endorse her. She said no, claiming all politics is local.

Here's the problem with that: AOC has endorsed candidates in at least 23-26 races across the country, including Justin J. Pearson in Tennessee, Randy Villegas in California, and races in Montana, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. If Hong has really changed, why is this the one endorsement AOC won't give? Bernie Sanders won't give it either.

I also pull up her own post from October 2019 — five full months before any COVID shutdown in the United States — where she called for a "real conversation about decarceration and prison abolition." That matters, because her explanation to Karl was that the pandemic and the shutdowns blew open the Overton window and made people entertain any and every policy. She points to the highest unemployment rates we've seen from those shutdowns as the reason. But the date on her own post breaks that alibi.

Then on Monday morning, MSNBC — now MS NOW — aired the clip on Morning Joe, and Joe Scarborough came apart on air. He said Democrats are "fumbling the football on the two-yard line" by being "too woke to call out the obvious," and named Chuck Schumer and Hakeem Jeffries as the leaders who should be condemning it. What makes it land is that Scarborough actually praised Mamdani in the same segment — calling him pragmatic, citing a high approval rating, a record-low murder rate, and a thriving economy. He isn't attacking these people. He thinks they're about to lose an election they should win.

We also cover her answer on DSA membership, where she claimed she's only in the New York City chapter and not the national organization — and why that excuse is the same excuse she used for not endorsing Hong.

If "Woke 1.0" was crazy, that implies a Woke 2.0. Karl never asked what changed. I do.

President Trump has won and is our next President! Now the work begins. We need to continue to support the movement and Donald J Trump. Do not let this win go to waste.

I am just an average American. My teen years were in the late 70s and I participated in all that that decade offered. Started working young, too young. Then I joined the Army before I graduated High School. I spent 25 years in, mostly in Infantry units. Since then I've worked in information technology positions all at small family owned companies. At this rate I'll never be a tech millionaire. When I was young I rode horses as much as I could. I do believe I should have been a cowboy. I'm getting in the saddle again by taking riding lessons and see where it goes.
