The DOJ did not immediately respond to the Daily Signal’s request for comment.
Dhillon was a strong advocate for parental rights, religious liberty, and constitutional freedoms.
While the Biden administration used the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act to throw pro-lifers in jail, Dhillon used it to prosecute attacks against pregnancy resource centers. She prosecuted people who obstructed worship services, and she sued to block school policies that allowed teachers to hide a student’s transgender identity from their parents.
Dhillon peviously told Bloomberg reporters and editors that she planned to return to her Dhillon Law Group after leaving DOJ, Bloomberg reported.
She would be the first DOJ official to resign after the massive blue wave in midterms.
