Travis interviewed Trump during halftime of Saturday’s game between the Battle of the UTs with the Longhorns up 10-3 on the Volunteers.

“We love this state. We love Texas. They’re two competitive teams. It looks like a pretty good game so far,” Trump told Travis.
Trump expressed his optimism that the House of Representatives will pass the Protect College Sports Act when it gets back in session. “I think the House will come through, too,” he said.
Trump arrived in style to the marquee matchup as Air Force One flew over the 100,000-plus seat stadium ahead of kickoff.

Meanwhile, the ABC broadcast showed the 45th and 47th U.S. President on college football fans’ TV screens around the 11-minute mark of the first quarter.

In 2026, Trump has attended several high-profile sporting events, including the College Football Playoff National Championship (January), Game 3 of the NBA Finals (June), FIFA World Cup final (July), and IndyCar Freedom 250 Grand Prix (August), among others.
He is also scheduled to attend the Presidents Cup at Medinah Country Club in Chicago tomorrow.
