‘Free Palestine’ Crowd Eerily Silent On This Gaza Report

Breaking news, folks. The BBC has announced that reports of violence against women in Gaza have SURGED, per a U.N. agency.

Well, I’ll be darned. What did Israel do n—. Oh wait. The violence against women in Gaza is being committed by Gazan men? Is “Free Palestine” really just code for “free these women from their Palestinian oppressors”?

Seems like it, upon further review of the report.

The U.N., which is notorious for being as glaringly antisemitic, absolutely incompetent, and wholly unnecessary, just published findings that show women in Gaza are being traded for food and forced into marriages with their rapists.

With their rapists.

Over here, in the West, pro-choice advocates often ground their abortion arguments on the 0.4% of rape cases that result in pregnancies, saying women shouldn’t have to carry their rapists’ babies. So I’m sure they’ll be appalled, enraged, and vocal about the abhorrent reality women in Gaza are facing: having to marry and then procreate with their abusers! Right?

Wrong. They’re largely laissez-faire about the 123% increase in the number of early and forced marriage incidents across the region in the first quarter of 2026 alone. And eerily quiet upon hearing that the victims span ages 12 to 59. And suspiciously silent about the whistleblowers admitting that rape victims are often forced into these marriages to avoid shame and scandals.

“When rape cases are discovered in schools, you find weddings and celebrations at the school the next day,” one refugee said.

Horrific. Absolutely horrific.

In our Western World, which people take for granted and make a living off complaining about, you can’t scroll on Instagram for one minute without seeing a celebrity, influencer, or friend from high school getting married to the love of their lives on a beautiful beach, wistful wooded enclave, or luxurious lake. Wearing the dress of their dreams, smiling ear to ear, as they Instagram carousel off into the sunset.

In the Gaza Strip and many other parts of the Middle East, where sharia law dictates the courts, women are paired up with predators and walk down the aisle dressed in more garb than an Egyptian mummy in linen.

In our Western World, women are praised for murdering their children on account of mental health and acquitting men who boil up 26-year-olds to serve the “unhoused.”

In several Middle Eastern sharia courts, a woman’s testimony is worth half a man’s or is simply excluded entirely.

These are realities our media ecosystem should report on, acknowledge, and raise awareness of. But instead, they hide the truth, warp the emerging reports, and ignore the inconveniences, screaming “Israel’s fault” all the while.

But this is a situation even the BBC can’t gloss over, though they tried.

It’s both tragic and a much-needed reminder for us ladies in the land of the free that we can refuse marriage, leave the house, testify in court as a full person, and post the bikini pics without the burqa, with the caption “Free Palestine.”

If these people are serious about “freeing Palestine,” they should advocate for the abdication of these rules that force women into hiding, obscurity, and shame. They should argue for the importation of the beautifully boring Western miracles we are blessed to live by: equality, the right to say no, the expectation that rape is a crime against the victim, not an impetus for matrimony. Then they should protect them as though they could be lost, because they can easily be lost if we forget where they came from.

Hint: not their Allah.
