It’s election day, which means — regardless of your politics — you’re being bombarded with a lot of very negative, frankly depressing messages right now.

If you’re a conservative, of course, you’re told that the midterms are going to be a blowout. But even on the Left, where they’re expecting a massive victory today, the mood still isn’t optimistic or uplifting in any way.
That makes sense, because it’s hard for anyone to be truly enthusiastic about anything the Left is promoting, when you get down to it. The whole ideology is about bringing the rest of civilization down to their level — not about creating anything new and inspiring. The end result is that — although I haven’t checked any studies on this, and in fact I’m simply making it up on the spot — Americans are more depressed right now than they’ve been during any midterm election in the history of the country.
That fake but probably mostly true statistic is troubling enough that I’ve decided to do something a little different today. Instead of discussing exit polls and making wild guesses about how the election is going to turn out — because frankly I don’t know, and my election predictions have been remarkably terrible throughout my career — we’re going to lighten the mood a bit.
Specifically, for reasons that may never become clear, we’re not even going to talk about current events, or anything with a “news hook” — that would be too easy. It would make too much sense. Instead, we’re going to talk about a fictional, made-up term that’s very fashionable lately.
That term is “neurodivergence.” In fact, neurodivergence is a current event, as it turns out. And it’s linked very closely to what we’re watching unfold politically in our country and across the Western world. It’s more than just a trendy buzzword.
In case you’re not familiar with “neurodivergence,” what’s happened is that the Left has become so weird and erratic that they invented a new word to describe it. And it’s catching on.
By one estimate, “Neurodiversity mentions in US job postings have nearly tripled in recent years.” Additionally, according to one random nonprofit, social media mentions of neurodivergence “more than quadrupled between 2021 and 2025, and they’re still climbing.”
We could try to define “neurodivergence” for you, but there’s no way we could match the eloquent, brilliant, practically Churchillian definition provided by these neurodivergent Canadians talking to a public-access TV show in Saskatoon. The person speaking in this clip appears to be dressed as the villain from The Rocky and Bullwinkle Show — whose name is Snidely Whiplash, by the way, in case you aren’t up on your 1960s cartoon lore. And the host of the program appears to be an oversized version of Jason Rantz, who you might have seen on Fox News. So these are some pretty relevant, widely recognizable references we’re giving you today. Jason Rantz and Snidely Whiplash. Anyway:
This is not a parody.

You have to feel a little bad for that woman. She was apparently told everyone would be wearing their Halloween costumes for the interview, so she got dressed up in her glitter shirt and her Salvador Dali mustache, only to arrive and find out that she was the only one participating. Or maybe not. Because I think the person next to her is a man dressed as a woman. So it’s hard to know what exactly is going on there.
As for the substance of their discussion, if I heard it correctly, neurodivergence consists of “a numerous amount of types of disabilities” including “Autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and that obscure weird little space there.” It’s actually “hard to list” all of the various elements of neurodivergence, we’re told, because it’s such an expansive category. Neurodivergence affects learning, reading, language — it’s all under the umbrella, so says Snidely.
According to a Canadian named John Connor — and yes, that’s his actual name — this footage is indeed authentic:
The post is a genuine episode of the community-access TV show Inclusive YXE (Episode 12), produced and hosted by Skyler Klyne for Rogers TV in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. … This episode features the co-founders of the local all-ages drag group Wigged Out YXE (Silver Phoenix and High Jinx), discussing neurodivergence and inclusion in the local drag scene. The person in the purple sequined shirt, black wig, and drawn-on mustache is one of the drag performers appearing as a guest. … The show was funded by Rogers Media who are mandated to run this type of nonsense by the [the Canadian government].
I couldn’t resist, so I went looking for more episodes of “Inclusive YXE.” This is perhaps the only time in my life that I’ve deliberately sought out content that was created by the Canadian government. And I don’t think I’ll ever do anything like this again. But on this special occasion, with this great new trend underway that’s sweeping the Anglo-world, I thought a deep dive would be appropriate. And to get it, we need to talk to the real experts and really explore all the content they have to offer. And I have to say, after spending multiple minutes researching — upwards of five or even six minutes — I believe that INCLUSIVE YXE is probably the greatest public access TV show in all of Saskatoon. When Rolling Stone unveils its Top 100 public access shows in Saskatoon list, I will be shocked and frankly appalled if this program is not at the very top of the list.
To prove that point, I came across this episode of INCLUSIVE YXE, which was actually shot on-location. So there’s apparently enough money in the budget to leave the studio and conduct some original reporting. In this case, the footage was shot on-location at an alleged church of some kind, which was hosting an “all-ages drag show.” You already know that this church is not a real church. First of all, because it’s hosting a drag show. But second, because it hasn’t been burned down. Typically, Canada likes to burn its churches. Unless the church isn’t actually a church. In which case it will be safe. So as you watch this, keep in mind it’s a demonstration of neurodivergence in action. When people talk about “neurodivergence,” this is what they’re referring to:

In case you didn’t catch the definition, the drag performer tells us that drag is “sort of basically kind of an art form that expresses, I guess, gender, like gender expression.” Now, you don’t expect a Canadian LGBT activist to know very much, or really anything at all, or to be able to offer coherent definitions of very many words. But you would expect that, at the very least, they could tell you what drag is.
If there’s one subject they should be able to speak coherently about, you’d think it would be that. If there’s one question that won’t stump this brain trust, you’d think it would be a question like: what is drag? Yet this drag performer is helpless to explain what drag is. It’s sort of basically kind of an expression that expresses gender expression, I guess. With that kind of circular logic and panicky equivocating, you’d think she was asked something really difficult, like what is a woman.
In any case, this is how indoctrination works in Canada. This is why the country is weak, embarrassing, and passive, allowing itself to be conquered, while they obsess over “climate change” and transgenderism.
It starts at a very young age. The Canadian government forces children (of all ages) to watch horrific, grotesque displays like this — where it looks like the “drag performer” is having some kind of medical episode. The children aren’t allowed to laugh at any point. They have to pretend this is all totally normal.
Then they become adults, and naturally, they’re extremely confused and very easy to manipulate. They’ve internalized this idea that freak shows like this are completely normal. And then they elect these people to the government, and insanity becomes the law of the land
Behold, for example, this neurodivergent lawmaker from Manitoba, telling residents to let home invaders take whatever they want from their property:

It’s easy to say “If they want to steal, let them steal.” But what if a Right-wing burglar raided the homes of the many neurodivergent lawmakers in Canada and took their hormone therapy and their train sets? We all know what would happen. They’d be calling for martial law. They’d throw him in a dungeon.
In fact, things are so bad in Canada, and they are so terrified of giving anything a name or definition, that their confusion is even reflected by their geographical features. As a reporter with the National Post points out, the Canadian government announced a few weeks ago that the Mackenzie River is a Canadian Heritage river. Now I don’t know what that means, and don’t care, but the point is that, in making this announcement, they did not call the Mackenzie River the Mackenzie River. Instead, they called it, officially, the “Dehcho / Deho / Kuukpak / Nagwichoonjik / Grand Rivière / Fleuve Mackenzie / Mackenzie River.” That is evidently the official name of this river. Its official name is seven different names, lest any indigenous group be excluded.
Now, you might make the argument that it makes a certain kind of sense for a river to be gender fluid. You might also make the argument that I’m only wedging this story into the monologue simply to make that gender fluid pun. And both of those arguments might be correct.
But I want to show you this from the Parks Canada press release concerning the Dehcho / Deho / Kuukpak / Nagwichoonjik / Grand Rivière / Fleuve Mackenzie / Mackenzie River. It says:
Including its tributaries, the River expands over 4,200 km in length. Its significance is reflected in its names in the Indigenous languages and dialects that are spoken along its length. The English interpretation of each of these names–Dehcho/Deho/ Grand Rivière/Kuukpak/Nagwichoonjik/Fleuve Mackenzie –is simply “Big River.”
So, to be clear, they have given the river seven names, but each name actually just means Big River. Which means that the official name of this river is Big River/Big River/Big River/Big River/Big River/Big River/Big River River. If you were ever confused about the size of this particular river, well, hopefully that confusion has now been cleared up. It’s a big river.
Although, frankly, I think the river is a little full of itself. I looked it up on a map, after all of this big river hype, and it’s not that big, all things considered. The Mississippi is bigger. Canada couldn’t even manage to have the biggest river in North America, which is pretty embarrassing:

Anyway, this lunacy brings us back to neurodivergence, which is supposed to be the topic at hand. Although you won’t hear this on Canadian state media, the truth is that “neurodivergent” is the latest in a long train of euphemisms that started with retard, became “slow,” then became autistic, then became mentally challenged, then became handi-capable, then became autistic again, before finally landing at neurodivergence. So it’s been a very long journey to this point. We’ve had to run through several different cycles of inclusivity to arrive at “neurodivergent.”
With the arrival of this latest euphemism, the concept has become more expansive, less coherent, and trendier than ever before. Nobody really wanted to be mentally handicapped. But lots of people want to be “neurodivergent.” Every influencer on TikTok wants to be neurodivergent, and claims to be.
By the way, if you break down the word “neurodivergent,” it comes with the prefix neûron, from the Greek for “nerve,” and “divergence,” which comes from the Latin verb “diverge,” which together means “different than normal” which applies to basically everyone.
Everyone, in some aspect of their thinking, can be described as “different from normal” to some degree. No one has the same level of emotional regulation, attention span, memory, or language ability as everyone else. So there’s a fundamental problem here with how we’re trying to divide people into “normal” and “neurodivergent.”
The whole concept of neurodivergent rests on the assumption of some kind of normal, baseline mental state, which the divergent and diverging from. But there is no normal, baseline mental state. There isn’t one single “normal brain” or “normal way of thinking” that we can use as our frame of reference. We cannot say that anything is diverging unless we know what is diverging from.
If you look into the history of where this word came from, it apparently originated — as all good ideas do — with “members of autistic self-advocacy communities that emerged online when many people got access to the internet.” That’s according to something called the “National Autistic Society” in the UK.
The basic idea is that a bunch of autistic people discovered how to log on to message boards and determined among themselves that “autistic brains are wired differently from the mainstream on a fundamental level.” The epicenter of this brain trust was something called the “InLv mailing list and forum,” where InLv is short for ‘Independent living on the autistic spectrum.”
Before long, these autistic individuals decided to become more inclusive. The following is from the National Autistic Society:
A 1996 post in the InLv forum by Tony Langdon … refers to the “neurological diversity of people”. This may be the first expression of the concept. In a follow-up post, Langdon wrote “a lot of this ‘curing’ needs to be applied to society at large” (rather than to autistic people) – a key idea in the neurodiversity paradigm. The journalist Harvey Blume, who was a member of InLv, is often credited with popularising the concept of neurodiversity and autistic community through two mass media articles: Autistics are communicating in cyberspace, published in the New York Times in 1997, and Neurodiversity: on the neurological underpinnings of geekdom, published by the Atlantic in 1998. The sociologist Judy Singer was also a member of InLv. In 1998, she wrote both her undergraduate thesis and, later, a chapter in the book Disability Discourse on the topic of neurological diversity, citing many of the forum members and their contributions.
So this is a concept that originated with a bunch of autists on Internet forums, and then a sociologist decided to write an undergraduate thesis about it. The science is completely fraudulent, in that it’s non-existent. This is really just a rebranding.
It is a new class of victim that broadly applies to anyone willing to seize the title, from train enthusiasts to the socially awkward to people suffering from entirely made-up mental illnesses like ADHD to traditional old-fashioned 1990s-style retarded people. This would be like if random people on 4Chan got to invent a new diagnosis. You can imagine what that would look like (But you’d probably lose your job if you said it out loud).
Just for fun, I went and found that New York Times op-ed that they referenced. Here’s part of it. This is how they’re defining “autism” and neurodivergence:
As one man expressed it on an Independent Living forum: “Imagine you are surrounded by 10 people rapidly talking to you at the same time (you’re a politician answering questions, for instance), and this goes on for SEVERAL HOURS. I’m sure you would want to run into a small room and lock the door behind you. Well, this is how I feel when I’m talking to two people (or one person, sometimes).” E-mail, he concluded, “is best for me.'”
This is called being “introverted.” There’s actually nothing wrong with it. It’s completely normal in every way. But if you combine introversion and narcissism, you get “neurodivergence.” And now we’re at the point where these people are getting discounts based on their fake condition.
The Railcard website in the UK, which is apparently run by the train industry, offers “1/3 off rail travel” for so-called “disabled passengers.” And they clarify, in their frequently asked questions section, that neurodivergence qualifies as a disability that will get you a discount, as long as it’s “long-term” — meaning it’s “lasted or likely to last at least 12 months.”
All you need is to see a doctor and get them to sign a letter, and you’re good to go — Which, to be fair, could take about 2 years in the UK. This includes people with ADHD, by the way. If you’re one of the approximately 100% of humans who have ever lived on Earth, who can become distracted when confronted with distractions, then you are neurodivergent and disabled and eligible for a discount.
So that’s good news for literally any human who for some reason would want to board a train in the UK.
There are similar deals for “neurodivergent folks” who want to save money on their groceries and utilities.
It’s actually a great idea, if you think about it. Imagine being a citizen in the UK. You can’t get a job. You don’t have air conditioning, even though you’re burning alive in your apartment. You can’t afford to pay your electric bill, so you’re not even using your dishwasher or washing machine (which were extravagant expenses — appliances you really had to spring for). There are dirty dishes and clothes all over your apartment — or rather, your “flat.” What are you supposed to do in this scenario? Well, neurodivergence offers a way out. Or at the very least, it’ll offer you a discount, so you can pretend to be a little less bankrupt.
What’s amazing about this whole trend is that, even in the establishment “scientific community” — which ordinarily aligns with Left-wing activists on every single issue — there’s no one who takes the idea of neurodivergence seriously. This is from the University of Southampton, covering a new research paper on the topic:
A new paper published in JAMA Psychiatry reviewed 134 studies and found that the term ‘neurodivergence’ is being used inconsistently in relation to over a dozen different clinical diagnoses across the different studies. These included neurodevelopmental disorders, such as autism, ADHD, and dyslexia, but also many other psychiatric diagnoses, like depression and anxiety, and neurological disorders. One in five studies used the term without referring to any specific clinical diagnosis at all and without defining it. … 50 studies asked participants to self-identify as neurodivergent or neurodiverse rather than using a formal clinical diagnosis, potentially adding further ambiguity. 56 studies didn’t provide a definition of the terms, while in some cases studies used definitions which were inaccurate (especially for neurodivergence).
In other words, whenever there’s any research being done on neurodivergence, they’re making it up as they go along. They’re not even attempting to be consistent about what the word means. This is supposed to be the whole point of “peer review” and “the scientific method” and so on. But they just throw all of that out the window, because there’s a clear incentive to make up fake mental illnesses (and to lend legitimacy to these illnesses, whenever possible).
This is a broader issue than just neurodivergence, of course. But it’s especially noticeable with so-called “disorders” that fall under the umbrella of neurodivergence. Look at the rise of ADHD, for example, which even many “experts” now admit is a fake disease.
More than 20% of 14-year-old boys in this country are supposedly afflicted with ADHD, which naturally has led to a massive rise in prescriptions for drugs like Ritalin and Adderall (which are basically speed). The number was around 2% in the 90s. It’s an absurd increase.
Pay no attention to the fact that, as all of this was happening, male teachers were basically forced out of elementary schools. Women took over, and many of them had no idea how to enforce discipline. So we’re left with medication.
Also, if we’re trying to explain the rise in distracted children, we certainly shouldn’t consider that, as we see the proliferation of distracted children, we are also seeing the proliferation of distractions. Every child is constantly surrounded by glowing screens. They carry little distraction boxes around in their pockets 24 hours a day. Could that be why they’re all so distracted? Could the distraction machine you have given your child be the reason why he is distracted? No, don’t be silly. He must be mentally diseased. Better put him on drugs.
Another explanation for what we’re seeing is that, in many corners of the Left, it’s a badge of honor to come down with some kind of fake “diagnosis” or “identity” that supposedly distinguishes you from everyone else. Much like the trans-phenomenon 5 years ago, this grievance is in fact a status symbol among leftists who now celebrate neurodivergence reveal parties. The following footage is from one of these reveal parties, where the color of the cake indicates what the woman’s diagnosis is — autism or ADHD:
This should help: A celebration party because she received an ADHD diagnosis. The color of the cake filling indicates whether it is autism or ADHD. This is what Leftism has done to mental health via the “neurodiversity” movement. Mental illness as identity. https://t.co/DW2OxfdMYA

Yes, they’re singing “happy autism to you.” This is why they make these diseases so hard to define — so vague that they could apply to anyone. The whole point is to enable unremarkable, despondent, desperate people to feel some semblance of uniqueness. To give them some illusion of having an interesting personality, and even maybe an interesting future.
As mentioned, TikTok is full of “neurodivergent” influencers. Every brand of mental illness has its own set of influencers promoting it. The easier a neurodivergence is to fake, the more performative it is, the more popular. That’s why Tourette’s syndrome is particularly popular on TikTok. So is Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID), or split personality disorder. The thing with DID is that it is, of course, 100% totally fake.
Psychiatrists made it up decades ago, and it has been debunked decisively and repeatedly since then. But that hasn’t stopped TikTokers from establishing DID as their brand.
So in influencer vocabulary, a person with DID has a “host,” which is the main character out of all of their split personalities. The protagonist, essentially. And then there are a bunch of side characters — bit parts, supporting roles, played by various character actors — and they are the “alters.” And all of these identities live inside this one person’s head.
The whole thing — all of the characters together — is called “the system.” This is all, again, I can’t stress enough, totally fake. I don’t mean to imply that these people have no mental issues at all. They obviously do. But the real, overarching mental issue this TikToker is suffering from is not so much a mental issue as a spiritual and moral one.
She is intensely, obsessively, single-mindedly narcissistic. This is someone so absorbed in herself, so obsessed with the inner workings of her own shallow mind, that she has invented this entire psychological stage play. This is what explains most of the fake “neurodivergence” stuff. It is just narcissism. Narcissism in slightly different forms, wearing different shades of neon hair dye.
Take a look at the following footage, which is once again out of Canada:
3 young “climate activists” who went to school and can’t find work in the “environmental field” want the Federal Government to give them a job with a new billion dollar program they’ve come up with.
Our Government has created a generation of psychologically abused people who think a tornado and a rain storm in Ottawa are a result of big oil.— Ryan Gerritsen???????????????? (@ryangerritsen) November 2, 2026

Left-wing activists are now openly demanding government jobs because they can’t find work with their fake degrees. It used to be that this kind of thing would happen “under the table.” It wouldn’t be discussed in polite company. The government would hire these people, give them “make work” jobs, and they’d feel productive.
But in Canada right now, the government is out of money. They’re badly in debt — and they’re even more vulnerable than the US, because their currency is worthless. So they’ve been having to conduct layoffs in the public sector. As a result, this is what the Leftists — the “true believers” — are reduced to. They have to grovel.
This is the “culture” — if you can even call it that — which produces historic, sky-high rates of documented mental illness, including “neurodivergence.” Desperate people will seek out any available opportunity to feel better about themselves, or to find some explanation for their circumstances in life. They don’t care if it’s incoherent. They don’t care if they don’t have any principles. When people feel cornered, and when they’ve been indoctrinated their entire lives, they will believe anything — especially if it gives them an excuse for their behavior.
This is a belief system that’s been internalized at every level of Left-wing activism — from the foot soldiers in Canada to the leaders of the Democrat Party in the United States. They have transcended reality. Take a look at this post from the governor of Virginia, the former CIA operative Abigail Spanberger.
I’m proud to have the most talented, hardest-working cabinet in Virginia’s history. They are also the most diverse cabinet Virginia has ever seen. Every single one of our cabinet secretaries were selected because they’re the best of the best in their respective fields. They also bring invaluable perspectives from across the Commonwealth — from Danville, Hampton Roads, Richmond, NOVA, and more. I’m grateful to get to work with these incredibly dedicated, hard-working, and talented cabinet officials to serve the Commonwealth of Virginia.

There’s the white female governor of Virginia, Abigail Spanberger, surrounded by seven people — none of whom is a white man. There’s one other white woman, plus three black men and three black women.
Now we’ve always known that “diverse” just means “no white men” — but it’s nice to have Spanberger come out and illustrate the point so explicitly. By this definition, six black people and two middle-aged white women are “the most diverse cabinet ever seen” in the state of Virginia. It’s crazy — but when your party is completely insane, it works.
I saw a post on X yesterday that explained the issue very well. It’s from an account called “Coddled Affluent Professional”:
Mental illness and certain forms of politics are now indistinguishable. One of the main purposes of progressive ideology is to identify an external locus for confusion, disappointment, and psychological discomfort. The leftists are ‘post Marxist’ as Paul Gottfried would say, and so it’s reasonable for all involved to understand this behavior, as disordered as it may be, as an ideologically coherent form of *praxis.”
In other words, mental illness and Left-wing politics have become one and the same. Instead of focusing solely on economic grievances — although those grievances are still an important part of their politics at some level — Leftists have learned to externalize their mental problems (real and imagined). This is why it’s natural for a politician like Spanberger to claim that “diversity” means “no white men.” It’s delusional — but so is her entire party at this point.
Today we will get a much better sense of how widespread this insanity has become, and how much it’s corrupted our political system. But if we’re going to defeat these people — which ultimately, we have to do — we have to understand what we’re up against.
We are not competing against an ideology that’s based on coherence or principles or anything like that.
We are, instead, in a battle with the party of the “neurodivergent” — which means whatever they want it to mean.
We’re fighting a movement that’s daring every American to call them out on their insanity.
The moment we lose our ability to do that, we become Canada. That’s their goal. They might get closer to achieving it today.
But if we’re going to truly help the so-called “neurodivergent community” — by which I mean everyone in the country — we can never let them win.
