Iran’s Execution Spree: 10 Young Activists Condemned To Death In Sham Isfahan Trial

Tehran’s bloodthirsty regime is dialing up the terror, giving 10 anti-government protesters death sentences in a ruthless bid to crush dissent following nationwide demonstrations in Isfahan.

Branch 1 of the Isfahan Revolutionary Court dished out the draconian verdicts to a group of 16 activists rounded up during the violent January uprising, according to political activist Mehdi Mahmoudian’s Khabaraneha Telegram channel.

Among those slated for the gallows are 20-year-old Taraneh Rahimi, alongside nine other young Iranians: Navid Elyasi, Mehrdad Boeri, Abolfazl Dadgostar, Armin Gholami, Mehdi Mansouri, Ahmadreza Saeedi, Mohammadmehdi Asadi, Parsa Jafari, and Mehdi Jafari.

This woman is about to be executed in Iran.

Her name is Taraneh Rahimi. 20 years old. From Isfahan.

Her crime? Joining the January uprising and stopping the beating of another protester.

While Rahimi faces execution, her twin sister, Romina Rahimi, was handed a crushing 25-year prison sentence alongside Milad Boeri. Four other co-defendants received sentences ranging from five to 15 years, while all 16 were given extra time for “incitement” and “propaganda against the establishment.”

The high-profile “Isfahan Shohada Square” trial has sparked international outrage over horrific allegations of torture, forced confessions, and sexual violence inside the regime’s grim dungeons.

Insiders say the court completely ignored a formal abuse complaint filed by one of the female detainees before declaring the convictions. Defendant Ahmadreza Saeedi directly confronted judges in court, revealing he was brutally tortured during interrogation to extract a fake confession. Legal representation was virtually non-existent, with defense attorneys blocked from even reviewing the case files.

Exiled Iranian Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi blasted the verdicts as “brutal and unjust,” slamming the regime’s sham legal process and demanding the international community wakes up to the horrific atrocities.

The latest round of death sentences comes as the Islamic Republic goes on a terrifying execution spree. Authorities have already strung up five protesters in Isfahan since July in a separate crackdown known as the Alikhani Square case, carrying out multiple hangings publicly in the city square to instill maximum fear.

Meanwhile, human rights groups report that executions are ramping up nationwide.

In Tehran, 26-year-old Ali-Asghar Peyghambari is sitting on death row at the infamous Ghezel Hesar Prison after the Supreme Court upheld his sentence under bogus “cooperation with Israel” charges.

In Qom, state media announced the public execution of 19-year-old Saleh Mohammadi in March, an award-winning international wrestler.

Twenty-seven-year-old auto mechanic Reza Zanganeh faces imminent execution on bogus “enmity against God” charges.

Beautician and mother of two Leila Abolhasani was also condemned to death simply for filming a burning supermarket on her phone, and activists warn 16-year-old Diana Taherabadi could be next.

As Iran’s tyrannical regime tries to hang on to power through sheer state terror, human rights groups are urging global leaders to step in before the regime sends more innocent young protesters to the gallows.
