Researchers Make Astonishing Discovery In Hunt For Noah’s Ark

A team of high-tech explorers claims they may have finally cracked one of history’s ultimate mysteries, asserting that the long-lost, storm-surviving Noah’s Ark from the Book of Genesis is sitting right beneath a mountain ridge in eastern Turkey.

According to an international crew of deep-ground researchers, scans of the boat-shaped mound known as the Durupınar Formation point to a man-made structure buried beneath the surface. They said they are personally convinced the buried, massive entity is none other than Noah’s Ark itself.

The site, located roughly 18 miles south of Mount Ararat, the towering peak traditionally linked to the Biblical story, has baffled explorers for decades. But the team behind the latest probe, Noah’s Ark Scans, insisted its ground-penetrating radar and deep-core drilling data undercut a natural origin, The Daily Mail reported on Wednesday.

Independent investigator Andrew Jones, who founded the project and has spent nearly 30 years hunting for the ship, isn’t playing around. While he admitted the radar readings aren’t infallible, he believes the structural patterns exposed by their latest discovery offer groundbreaking evidence of man-made construction buried beneath the mud.

To look for the truth, the team brought in high-powered radar technology adapted from U.S. Air Force research to peer deep into the earth. They found huge subterranean layers, massive hollow spots, and precise linear walls that seem to outline ancient rooms, passageways, and a 151-foot-long tunnel network.

The radar picked up a distinct, 20-foot-thick band lying about 16 feet under the surface that splits neatly into three distinct layers. For Biblical scholars, that rang a bell; Genesis specifically writes that God instructed Noah to build the wooden sanctuary with lower, second, and third decks.

Jones pointed out that their drilling rigs hit zero bedrock or solid limestone, punching a massive hole in the long-standing skeptics’ theory that the boat-shaped mound is just a natural rock formation carved out by ancient glaciers or mudslides.

Meanwhile, the team’s core samples have already brought up sediment that is currently undergoing lab testing. Project insider Lauren Witzke opined that while the top layer of the underground structure has crumbled over the years, lower levels appear intact. She claimed the team believes they’ve drilled straight into a floor of ancient, petrified wood.

The spot first grabbed headlines back in 1948 after local legend says heavy rains and quakes exposed the outline to a local shepherd. Just over a decade later, a Turkish Army captain spotted the boat shape in aerial reconnaissance photos, triggering a decades-long shouting match between geologists and Biblical adherents.

The site’s dimensions line up virtually perfectly with Scripture, which describes a vessel measuring 300 cubits long (roughly 450 to 515 feet), matching the Turkish formation’s outline. The team has even pulled ancient pottery from the surrounding soil dating all the way back to the Copper Age.

While some scientists remain skeptical, the Ark-hunting crew is officially moving past remote imaging. They plan deep physical excavations to pull up samples that can be radiocarbon-dated once and for all.

One thing is clear: the hunt for Noah’s Ark just got a serious upgrade.
