Newly-selected White House Chief of Staff Stephen Miller promised on Friday that he was all in, and ready to support President Donald Trump and his administration for the rest of his term.

Miller joined the president and a number of his supporters at Mar-a-Lago — after Tuesday’s bruising midterm elections handed control of both the House and the Senate to the Democrats — and struck a defiant tone as he declared his intention to stand with the president no matter what.
“It was the privilege of a lifetime to join President Trump all the way back in 2015 when he came down that Golden Escalator,” Miller said, recalling Trump’s initial entry into the 2016 presidential election. “And let me tell you, if it wasn’t for President Trump, the United States of America would not exist right now.”
“This man saved America,” Miller continued. “He saved our military from collapse. He saved our economy from destruction. He saved our border from annihilation. And he saved our country from threats at home and abroad, which would’ve been the end of the American Dream forever.”
Miller went on to point out the opposition Trump had faced from Americans, adding, “This man took a bullet for us. He faced down life in prison for us. He saved the Republican Party from the ash heap of history and has made it stronger, more popular, and more resilient than ever before.”
“We need to stand with the man who has stood with us and this country with every fiber of his being,” Miller declared. “It is the honor of my life to be President Trump’s Chief of Staff — and I swear to you and I pledge to you, Mr. President, my absolute loyalty, my unwavering commitment, and my total devotion to your success and the success of this country. Thank you, President Trump.”
Secretary of State Marco Rubio also spoke to the crowd on Friday, reminding them that President Trump had been reelected in 2024 to make the hard decisions — even when those hard decisions came with tough political consequences like the recent Democrat midterm sweep.
