Bomb Threat Forces Evacuations At University Of Virginia Day After Old Dominion Terrorist Attack
Authorities told people to evacuate two libraries at the University of Virginia over a bomb threat on Friday morning, just one day after an ISIS-supporting terrorist shot three people, killing one, across the state at Old Dominion University.

University of Virginia police told people to “avoid the area” at Shannon Library on the Charlottesville campus over reports of a bomb threat. The university’s Department of Safety and Security later added that authorities were “investigating evacuating both Clemmons and Shannon Libraries.” The libraries are across the street from each other.
In their most recent update, university authorities said at 12:18 p.m. ET that police are on the scene investigating the threat, adding that “University Operations remain normal outside of” the libraries.
