It has not yet been two years since UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson was shot dead outside the Hilton Midtown in Manhattan, on a frigid December morning, his body crumpled on the pavement as blood pooled beneath him.

But when has time, mortality, or common decency ever stopped the violent Left from vilifying a victim and aggravating the very problem they created?

Zohran Mamdani, New York City’s smarmball socialist mayor, is now dispatching taxpayer-funded social media trolls to go after the city’s remaining top CEOs (who have not yet been gruesomely gunned down) in a coordinated smear campaign. His “Influencer Army” of brats has reportedly been tasked with bashing business leaders and propagandizing for Mamdani’s monstrous tax-and-spend agenda.

Apparently it wasn’t enough for the Marxist mayor to film a social media post outside billionaire investor Ken Griffin’s Midtown penthouse, broadcasting the businessman’s whereabouts to promote his asinine pied-à-terre tax. Nor was it enough to publish a searchable database doxxing hundreds of thousands of wealthy New York homeowners. No, no, Mamdani was just getting started.

Now that the Left’s ghouls, who celebrate the death of those they disagree with, know exactly where these billionaires live, phase two of the malicious Mamdani plan can commence: vilify the wealthy until someone feels justified in taking action against them. Again.

He is not merely taxing the rich. He is attacking the rich.

Hizzoner is directing his swarm of democratic socialist influencers to take down top bosses at the Partnership for New York City. Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla and Related Companies CEO Jeff Blau are the first meaty targets they’re salivating after.

The New York Post’s insider source says the socialist social media snakes are “piecing together ideas on how to take them on,” adding, “anybody is fair game as long as you’ve got money. There is a menu of options that is presented to the mayor.”

Menu options. He’s treating the successful, the innovators, and the creators who generate the very revenue the mayor plans to pilfer, as menu options. Their substance to be devoured, and the carcass discarded, served with a side of blindside.

The army’s strategy is to catch these executives off guard, particularly the Partnership’s newest CEO, former Jersey City mayor Steve Fulop, whom they reportedly want to “punch in the face.”

Darling folks, just darling.

The plan is to ruthlessly attack New York’s business leaders while simultaneously campaigning for scads of new taxes. And for free? Nothing is free anymore. This is how young socialists are making their money. Because obviously, the African Studies major isn’t doing it for them.

An insider I spoke to last week, who had lunch with one of these mega-Left influencers, said everyone on that side of the aisle is doing it. Maybe the money isn’t wired directly from the mayor’s office, but somehow your tax dollars are funding radical phone monkeys to do Hizzoner’s bidding, and no one will ever know exactly through whom or what. None of it is disclosed, but all of it is dangerous.

A Marxist militia of young, useful idiots, paid $20 or $30 a video to push not only a socialist idea but a carnivorous call to action: demand we tax the rich, and forgive attacks on them.

You all saw how the Left’s freaks lined up in solidarity with Luigi Mangione, the accused killer of Brian Thompson. They gushed over his photograph, posted memes of a “Luigi Signal” in the sky as if he were Batman, and wrote letters to him in jail thanking him for his service. They’ll never thank a veteran for serving this country, but they’ll thank a butcher for trying to unravel it.

As my boss Ben Domenech has pointed out, this malicious movement is, on some level, their answer to Charlie Kirk. These ideologically inept, morally hollow trolls cannot organically generate enthusiasm for their policies, so they pay professional scrollers to gin up a false sense of unity and a very real sense of hatred toward those they feel have wronged them.

And that hatred is incoherently aimed at the only useful bodies left in New York, who for reasons unknown are still trying to save the city from the claws of Democratic Defeat. Blau is leading development at Hudson Yards, a $25 billion private real estate investment that adds housing to the city. Bourla steers corporate philanthropy toward healthcare access and community health initiatives. JPMorgan Chase CEO Dimon and Fulop have created thousands of high-paying jobs, invested in local startups, and funded affordable housing in underserved boroughs of the Big Apple.

The Left wants to eliminate them after robbing them for all they’re worth. And unfortunately, in today’s deadly political climate, some deranged soul may well try. They are, after all, eight times more likely to support political violence. Over half would feel positively if Trump were assassinated. Twenty-two percent of liberals under 44 say it’s okay to feel happy when a political opponent dies. They celebrate death on social media — of fathers, sons, businessmen; our fellow Americans. They have become the Democratic Party of Death. And now they’re laser-focused on destroying New York’s businessmen, with your tax dollars. Look out.

I’d recommend that these successful businessmen — mostly Jewish, mostly fathers — get out and go to a red state haven before these socialist, social media, Mamdani-directed militant swarms put them six feet under, after ordering them well-done.

I am just an average American. My teen years were in the late 70s and I participated in all that that decade offered. Started working young, too young. Then I joined the Army before I graduated High School. I spent 25 years in, mostly in Infantry units. Since then I've worked in information technology positions all at small family owned companies. At this rate I'll never be a tech millionaire. When I was young I rode horses as much as I could. I do believe I should have been a cowboy. I'm getting in the saddle again by taking riding lessons and see where it goes.
