And then, he watched in horror as the company he loved traded its relationship with customers for an elitist stakeholder capitalism scorecard. Most Americans can date Bud Light’s collapse to February 11, 2023 — the day that transgender-identifying social media influencer Dylan Mulvaney posted a video of himself drinking Bud Light in a bathtub, a paid promotion that permanently altered the brand’s reputation.

But as Anson recounts in his bestselling book, “Last Call for Bud Light,” the Mulvaney campaign was just one of many poor decisions that led to Anheuser-Busch losing $30 billion in market value. The company’s executives, he wrote, “had lost touch with Anheuser-Busch’s brand. With its mission. With its consumers.”

Frericks had seen the writing on the wall before the Mulvaney fiasco. He left Anheuser-Busch in 2022 and partnered with Vivek Ramaswamy to found Strive Asset Management, whose “bold vision” was “to depoliticize corporate America and restore the voices of everyday citizens in the American economy by leading companies to focus on excellence.”

Frericks breaks down all that and more in the premiere episode of The Daily Wire’s newest show, “Titans On Tomorrow.” The series brings Shapiro face to face with the founders, CEOs, and investors building the next decade of business and finance during a transformative time for the global economy.

In this exciting premiere episode, Shapiro and Frericks break down Anheuser-Busch’s fall from the top of the beer world to the punchline of a national joke. They also discuss why companies like BlackRock, State Street, and Vanguard have outsized power over corporate America, and how Strive is fighting back; whether corporate neutrality is enough, or if conservatives need to push harder; why he left the culture wars behind to build an AI company tackling serious mental illness; and what’s next as AI, biotech, and capital markets reshape the American economy.

I am just an average American. My teen years were in the late 70s and I participated in all that that decade offered. Started working young, too young. Then I joined the Army before I graduated High School. I spent 25 years in, mostly in Infantry units. Since then I've worked in information technology positions all at small family owned companies. At this rate I'll never be a tech millionaire. When I was young I rode horses as much as I could. I do believe I should have been a cowboy. I'm getting in the saddle again by taking riding lessons and see where it goes.
