Ohio man fleeing police on foot leaps onto moving car, tries to take control before falling off: Police

An Ohio man accused of shoplifting leaped onto a woman's car as she barreled down the highway trying to escape police, dramatic video shows.

Two Ohio men accused of shoplifting from a Kroger were pulled over by Miami Township police on July 27, and one of them, later identified as Kaamil O'Berry, bolted from the car and fled on foot, according to WKRC.

The suspect was seen running over the on-ramp to I-75 as he ran away from police.

As O'Berry allegedly continued to run from police, he was seen running onto the interstate and jumping onto the hood of a woman's car, who continued driving.

The suspect clung to the hood of the woman's car until both vanished from the highway camera's view, allegedly attempting to take control of the car. He broke her windshield in the process as well.

Eventually, O'Berry fell off the woman's windshield and was arrested. He was transported to a nearby hospital, according to the report.

O'Berry was arrested on charges of obstructing official business, theft and aggravated robbery.

David Sutter, who was in the car with O'Berry, was charged with complicity to theft.
