What can Americans expect if Democrats win the U.S. House, Senate, or both on Nov. 3?

In 2010, according to Gallup, 50% of Democrats viewed socialism positively. This year: 65%.
Last month’s Center for Strategic Politics (CSP) survey of 638 Democratic voters discovered that 59% would be very positive (43%) or somewhat positive (16%), if a military coup ousted President Trump—no doubt, as the Left screamed: “Democracy!”
Scarier still, 32% of Democrats would feel very positive (23%) or somewhat positive (9%) if Trump were assassinated.
As Hot Air’s David Strom observed, “the cohort of voters they polled was not just the extremists. The top candidates they chose as their potential Democrat Party nominees were Kamala Harris, Pete Buttigieg, and Gavin Newsom … So spare me the claim that this was a bad sample that only polled the radical Democrats.”
The Secret Service has protected Trump through at least six assassination bids, including gunfire at Butler, Pennsylvania, in July 2024; Trump’s West Palm Beach golf course that September, and last May 11’s White House Correspondents’ Dinner.
However, Trump’s bodyguards would be powerless to prevent a Democratic House from impeaching him or a Democratic Senate from trying him.
This is what Democrats crave. CSP’s study revealed that 87% of Democrats would be very positive (75%) or somewhat positive (12%) if Trump were impeached. With Democrats almost universally salivating over a third Trump impeachment, it is implausible that a Democratic House would fail to indict Trump again. And, once again, they will fabricate charges to “get Trump.”
The Senate would have to confront the articles of impeachment. A Republican majority would need to invest time just to stymie this juggernaut. Meanwhile, Democrats gleefully would try, try again to convict Trump. This would halt all lawmaking and divide America even more bitterly.
Amid these troubling signs, self-sabotaging Senate Republicans foolishly defend the filibuster, a beautiful historical relic. Despite GOP senators’ heartwarming fantasies to the contrary, today’s Jacobin Democrats would catapult the filibuster into the Potomac within moments of conquering the Senate.
Come January, these Republican committee chairmen could yield their gavels to these ranking members:
- House Foreign Affairs: From Florida Republican Brian Mast to New York Democrat Gregory Meeks
- House Judiciary: From Ohio’s Jim Jordan to Maryland’s Jaime Raskin
- House Financial Services: From Arkansas’ French Hill to California’s Maxine Waters
- Senate Appropriations: From Maine’s Susan Collins to Washington’s Patty Murray
- Senate Banking: From South Carolina’s Tim Scott to Massachusetts’ Elizabeth Warren
- Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions: From Louisiana’s Bill Cassidy to Vermont’s Bernie Sanders
HELP!
This fall, Democratic voters will dance barefoot atop rusty machetes to reach the polls. Republicans are ho-hum.
Among 1,000 likely voters in Emerson College’s September 21-22 survey, 78% of Democrats are “very excited” to vote in the midterms, versus 70% of independents and just 66% of Republicans. The GOP must erase this 12% enthusiasm gap or brace for tears on Election Night.
Those waiting in the wings are not your father and mother’s guns-and-butter-oriented, tax-and-spend Democrats. Non-crazies like New York’s Daniel Patrick Moynihan and Connecticut’s Joe Lieberman are dead. Georgia’s Sam Nunn and Louisiana’s Mary Landrieu are far from power.
Today’s Democratic Party is flying on socialism, fueled by hatred of Trump and his supporters, and increasingly at peace with political violence.
Too many Democrats added blazing Teslas to anti-DOGE protests and worship Luigi Mangione, the highly scenic and equally deadly assassin of United Health Care CEO Brian Thompson. Democratic activists cheered the killing of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk—on the day he took a fatal bullet for free speech and, yet again, on Sept. 10, 2026, exactly one year since his murder, allegedly at the hands of Tyler Robinson, a Leftist propelled by transgenderism.
Republicans and sympathetic independents have two options: Storm the polls in droves to stop the Leftward-marching Democrats, or stand down and let these neo-Marxists stomp the brakes on the entire Trump/GOP America First agenda.
