SEE IT: Top Dem Sprints Away From ‘Believe All Women’ When Asked About Platner

House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) was clearly uncomfortable when Fox News host Jacqui Heinrich pressed him on the accusations against Leftist Maine Senate candidate Graham Platner.

Heinrich, on the latest broadcast of “The Sunday Briefing,” pulled no punches when she asked Jeffries about claims that Platner had exhibited troubling behavior with women he’d dated in the past — and challenged him with the Democratic Party’s #MeToo mantra: “Believe all women.”

WATCH:

“What happened to believe all women?” Heinrich asked.

“I haven’t followed these allegations closely,” Jeffries began. “What I have said is that violence against women, in any way, shape, or form, is unacceptable. It’s a red line and nobody should cross that. And any accuser who comes forward has to be treated with dignity and respect.”

Jeffries went on to defend his ignorance regarding the furor surrounding a high-profile Democratic candidate by saying that he was only concerned with winning back control of the House of Representatives.

“I haven’t talked to [Rep.] Ro Khanna (D-CA) about this particular race, and in fact, I haven’t gotten involved in this particular race because we’re focused on taking control of the House of Representatives,” he added.

Khanna attempted to walk the line on Platner, saying that he believed the women who had come forward alleging that the Maine Democrat’s behavior was troubling. But Khanna stopped short of withdrawing his support for Platner — and even campaigned with him over the weekend — saying that he would certainly withdraw support if and when he saw evidence that the troubling behavior had ever escalated to violence.

Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA) is one of the few Democrats who have spoken out against Platner, often referring to the candidate by his Reddit screen name — P Hustle — and suggesting that there probably are more skeletons in his closet that have not yet surfaced.

I am just an average American. My teen years were in the late 70s and I participated in all that that decade offered. Started working young, too young. Then I joined the Army before I graduated High School. I spent 25 years in, mostly in Infantry units. Since then I've worked in information technology positions all at small family owned companies. At this rate I'll never be a tech millionaire. When I was young I rode horses as much as I could. I do believe I should have been a cowboy. I'm getting in the saddle again by taking riding lessons and see where it goes.
