With Halloween and Election Day right around the corner, “The View’s” Ana Navarro seemed intent on scaring voters into the polls to vote against President Donald Trump. After first trying to stoke fear of a Russian pneumonic plague coming to America and the administration letting it kill everyone, Navarro later pivoted to invoking their despair from 2016 when Trump first defeated their girl Hillary Clinton.

Navarro lamented to the rest of the coven that “the COVID experience” left her “scarred.” And upon hearing about the new reports of the pneumonic plague in Russia, she wanted to “put my hands to my ears, curl up in the fetal position, and say wake me up when it’s over.”
“And this is why I think it’s so important that we have qualified people in government,” she decried. “You know, I just don’t give a pass to Republican senators who voted to confirm RFK Jr. as secretary of Health — knowing he was unqualified; including people like [Louisiana Senator] Bill Cassidy, who’s a doctor himself.”
According to Navarro, America’s prognosis for surviving the plague isn’t looking good. Her prescribed action was, “girl, kiss your ass goodbye” and call her in the morning.
Notably, Navarro’s doomsaying seemed to irritate moderator Whoopi Goldberg.
Possibly already seeing the headlines or not wanting “The View” to be the source of a panic, Goldberg tried to reassure viewers that there were “at least 75” good employees still working at the Department of Health and Human Services.
“Well, no. Um. So. A lot of people got fired,” Goldberg said with an audible groan. “But a lot of people didn’t, and those are the people who are putting out the information that we actually are getting on what is available to us, what you can take, how you should be dealing with stuff.”

The next day, while co-hosts Sunny Hostin and Alyssa Farah Griffin boasted that things were looking good for Democrats in Texas with candidate James Talarico, Navarro rained on their parade.
Navarro recalled the emotional roller coaster before, during, and after the 2016 presidential election results as poll after poll showed Hillary Clinton would win. She didn’t want that to happen again, so she urged people not to rest on the projections and go out and vote for Talarico to avoid a repeat:
NAVARRO: You’re not kidding. 2016 left me scarred.
GOLDBERG: I know.
NAVARRO: We — Everyone was waiting for there to be fireworks.
HOSTIN: I have hope in Texas.
NAVARRO: And people should have hope. Hope alone won’t win an election. People got to turn hope into vote. And I don’t think relying on polls and kind of just sitting back and getting complacent is something that nobody can afford to do if they want to see change.
The View urges people to go vote for Talarico.

Whether it’s lying about the administration not taking an illness seriously or trying to stoke fear of another possible 2016 upset, Navarro’s comments were all about manipulating their viewers to get them out to vote for the Democrats.
