Freedom Is Back In Style
The Daily Signal has learned from top Democrat staffers that the 120th Congress will include a new “Squad” of Democratic Socialists of America members, called “the bloc,” with at least seven anti-capitalist members.

The bloc will include two of the remaining members of the original Squad, Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., and Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich.
The new members likely include two progressives running in New York’s Democrat strongholds, Darializa Avila Chevalier and Claire Valdez, who have both expressed their disgust for the United States, as well as Pennsylvania state Rep. Chris Rabb, who has faced criticism for providing cover to Islamic extremists.
Melat Kiros, who refused to condemn the Islamic arsonist who killed a Holocaust survivor last year, is now running in a Democrat congressional district in Colorado to be another member of the so-called bloc.
Donavan McKinney, a far-left Michigan state representative, is months away from representing Detroit in the “bloc.”
Other members of the bloc could include Michigan Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed, who has repeatedly refused to condemn the Iranian regime, and socialist candidates, like Florida state Rep. Angie Nixon, if they win their elections.
William Lawrence, a leftist “activist” who let his DSA membership “lapse” earlier this summer and was recently caught stating that he wants to abolish the nuclear family, could also be a member of the “bloc” if he successfully unseats incumbent Rep. Tom Barrett, R-Mich.
Just like the “Squad,” the “bloc” will be more of a symbolic congressional caucus than a real leadership role within the party’s congressional duties. It remains unclear who the leader of the socialist movement will be, or if it will act as a communal body.
Socialist Call, a newspaper for America’s self-proclaimed socialists who have probably never actually experienced life under a socialist government, noted that if the Democrats were to retake the majority in November, the likelihood of a House speaker who champions socialist policies is slim.
The outlet previously reported that members of this “bloc,” such as Ocasio-Cortez, cast ballots in favor of current House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries as the party’s speaker.
However, the socialist “bloc” in the 120th Congress could still yield significant influence within the House Democratic caucus. According to the outlet, the congressional caucus will work alongside other progressive members, such as Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., to push far-left progressive policies endorsed by the group.
Some of those policies, aside from the “Medicare for All” policy that the Democratic Party seems to have adopted, include massive Muslim refugee resettlement, green energy policies, higher corporate taxes, open borders, boycotting the only Jewish state in the world, providing harbor to Islamic terrorists, and abolishing the Senate.
If successful in these efforts, Americans could soon witness DSA-endorsed policies being heavily debated and even voted on in the U.S. Capitol.
