Trump Dismantles Jill Biden’s ‘Stroke’ Claim
President Donald Trump ripped into Jill Biden for claiming former President Joe Biden had a stroke during the disastrous presidential debate that led to the end of his campaign.

Trump said that the former first lady should have rushed to the debate stage to check on Biden if she really thought he had a stroke, as she claimed during a recent interview with CBS News.
“Jill Biden is now out there finally admitting that she did NOT know what went wrong with Sleepy Joe during our spectacular, and highly rated, 2024 Presidential Debate, where Joe was not exactly performing to the highest level of debate standards,” Trump posted on Truth Social on Friday morning. “She said that she thought he was having a ‘stroke,’ and various other really bad things, and yet never rushed onto the stage to help her troubled husband, as any good wife would do.”
During the debate, Jill Biden frequently stumbled through his answers and struggled to appear coherent. At the time, his wife said that he did a “great job,” “answered every question,” and “knew all the facts.”
Yet in a viral clip from her interview with CBS News, she claimed to have a very different reaction.
“I was frightened,” she said. “I had never, ever seen Joe like that before or since. When I watched it, I thought, ‘Oh my God, he’s having a stroke.’ And it scared me to death.”
Trump added that Jill Biden should have mentioned how well he performed during the debate.
“The only thing she failed to mention was how well I was doing prior to his near total collapse. In other words, as many have asked, did my strong performance in that debate cause him to plain and simple ‘choke,’ leading to his ignominious defeat, or were other reasons the cause? Nobody else knows the answer to that, BUT I DO!!!” Trump said.
Biden has received backlash from both Democrats and Republicans for her claims, with many commentators accusing her of lying.
Pressure quickly mounted on Biden after the debate. He ended his campaign soon after, paving the way for former Vice President Kamala Harris to quickly lock up the Democrat nomination without any major opposition.

I am just an average American. My teen years were in the late 70s and I participated in all that that decade offered. Started working young, too young. Then I joined the Army before I graduated High School. I spent 25 years in, mostly in Infantry units. Since then I've worked in information technology positions all at small family owned companies. At this rate I'll never be a tech millionaire. When I was young I rode horses as much as I could. I do believe I should have been a cowboy. I'm getting in the saddle again by taking riding lessons and see where it goes.
