“We are totally destroying the terrorist regime of Iran, militarily, economically, and otherwise, yet, if you read the Failing New York Times, you would incorrectly think that we are not winning,” Trump wrote on Truth Social early Friday morning. “Iran’s Navy is gone, their Air Force is no longer, missiles, drones and everything else are being decimated, and their leaders have been wiped from the face of the earth.”

“We have unparalleled firepower, unlimited ammunition, and plenty of time — Watch what happens to these deranged scumbags today,” Trump added. “They’ve been killing innocent people all over the world for 47 years, and now I, as the 47th President of the United States of America, am killing them. What a great honor it is to do so!”

Secretary of War Pete Hegseth said during a Friday morning press briefing that the United States would carry out its most intense day of strikes so far.

“Today will be yet again the highest volume of strikes that America has put over the skies of Iran and Tehran, the number of sorties and the number of bomber pulses, the highest yet, ramping up and only up,” Hegseth said.

Hegseth said combined American and Israeli strikes have reached approximately 15,000 since the operation launched on February 28, averaging more than 1,000 per day. He added that Iranian missile launches have decreased by more than 90% over the course of the campaign.

Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Dan Caine echoed Hegseth’s comments, describing Friday as “our heaviest day of kinetic fires across the operating area.”

“Centcom continues to attack ballistic missile and drone capabilities so that they are no longer a threat to U.S. forces, our bases, or our partners,” Caine said. “They’re continuing to destroy the Iranian Navy, to ensure freedom of navigation, and this means going after Iran’s mine laying capability and destroying their ability to attack commercial vessels.”

Earlier this week, Hegseth described Tuesday as the “most intense” day of strikes up to that point in the Iran operation.

Fibis I am just an average American. My teen years were in the late 70s and I participated in all that that decade offered. Started working young, too young. Then I joined the Army before I graduated High School. I spent 25 years in, mostly in Infantry units. Since then I've worked in information technology positions all at small family owned companies. At this rate I'll never be a tech millionaire. When I was young I rode horses as much as I could. I do believe I should have been a cowboy. I'm getting in the saddle again by taking riding lessons and see where it goes.
