In a photo taken by WPTV, Woods’ SUV is seen on its side on what appears to be a residential street.

Back in 2021, Woods was injured in a rollover crash in Rolling Hills Estates in Southern California. In that incident, authorities said he was driving at least twice the speed limit, which was 45 mph, when his Genesis GV80 SUV hit a tree, causing the car to go airborne landing on its side.

Woods was seriously injured in that crash and had to be extracted from the vehicle. The injuries included fractures to the upper and lower fibula and tibia in his right leg. According to Sporting News, the pro golfer was first discovered by a neighborhood man who said Woods was unconscious. First responders said that Woods was alert when they arrived at the scene. He was taken to a hospital via ambulance after the accident.

Woods’ troubles on the road began in 2017 when he was arrested in Palm Beach County for suspicion of driving under the influence. The golf champion later pleaded guilty to reckless driving, agreed to pay a fine, and attend DUI school.

This latest crash comes a day after President Trump said on Fox News that Woods would not play in the 2026 Masters next month.

“I love Tiger, but he won’t be there,” Trump said on The Five. “He will be there, but he won’t be playing in it.”

Woods has been dating Trump’s former daughter-in-law, Vanessa Trump, the ex-wife of Donald Trump Jr, since 2025.

Officials are expected to release details about Wood’s Friday car wreck later today.

Fibis I am just an average American. My teen years were in the late 70s and I participated in all that that decade offered. Started working young, too young. Then I joined the Army before I graduated High School. I spent 25 years in, mostly in Infantry units. Since then I've worked in information technology positions all at small family owned companies. At this rate I'll never be a tech millionaire. When I was young I rode horses as much as I could. I do believe I should have been a cowboy. I'm getting in the saddle again by taking riding lessons and see where it goes.
