The Make America Healthy Again agenda has made its way to the Hawkeye State, with President Donald Trump’s hearty approval. Zach Lahn, a first-time politician, narrowly won the Republican primary for Iowa governor last month, and now the MAHA farmer is getting backed by Trump.

“It is my Great Honor to endorse America First Patriot, Zach Lahn, a tremendous Candidate running to be the next Governor of the Wonderful State of lowa, a place I love and WON BIG in 2016, 2020, and 2024!” he wrote in a Truth Social endorsement post.

“As a Sixth Generation lowan, and a very successful Businessman, Zach knows the AMERICA FIRST Policies required to Grow our Economy, Create GREAT Jobs, Cut Taxes and Regulations, Promote MADE IN THE U.S.A., and Unleash American Energy DOMINANCE. As a Family Farmer, Zach is an incredibly effective Voice for lowa Agriculture, our amazing Farmers and Ranchers, and Making America Healthy Again!” the president continued.

“Very excited to officially have the endorsement of the President of the United States—Donald J. Trump,” Lahn responded on X. “Looking forward to working together to win up and down the ballot in Iowa.”

Lahn beat longtime politician Rep. Randy Feenstra to be the Republican nominee for governor last month. Lahn is running on a MAHA platform backed by MAHA Action, a grassroots super PAC.

An anti-pesticide farmer, representing Republicans in the largest farm state in the country, is set to reshape the state and the way America views farming. Lahn has said he does not want to outright ban pesticides, but he wants to show and teach farmers in his state that they don’t need to rely on them.

“As a regenerative farmer, he understands that healthy soil, clean food, and healthy families are the foundation of a strong nation,” Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. said, responding to Trump’s endorsement.

“He has the courage to stand up for family farmers, challenge corporate interests, and put the health of our children first. His election will be a milestone victory for the MAHA movement and for every American committed to Make America Healthy Again,” Kennedy continued.

I am just an average American. My teen years were in the late 70s and I participated in all that that decade offered. Started working young, too young. Then I joined the Army before I graduated High School. I spent 25 years in, mostly in Infantry units. Since then I've worked in information technology positions all at small family owned companies. At this rate I'll never be a tech millionaire. When I was young I rode horses as much as I could. I do believe I should have been a cowboy. I'm getting in the saddle again by taking riding lessons and see where it goes.
