Warren Endorses Democrat Who Had ‘Nazi’ Tattoo After Smearing Hegseth Over Christian Imagery

In a move that perfectly encapsulates the staggering double standards of the modern Democratic Party, Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) endorsed Maine Senate candidate Graham Platner, whose chest was once adorned with a Totenkopf tattoo, the infamous “Death’s Head” symbol utilized by the Nazi SS, after leading the charge to crucify Pete Hegseth during his confirmation process over his “Deus Vult” tattoo.

For context, Deus Vult is a centuries-old Christian phrase meaning “God wills it.” To Warren and the pearl-clutching Left, this Latin expression of faith was “associated with right-wing extremism” and therefore disqualifying for public service.

“You were also removed from President Biden’s inauguration because of concerns that you were an insider threat after reports that your ‘Deus Vult’ tattoo ‘was a Christian expression associated with right-wing extremism,'” Warren wrote in January 2025. “We cannot have a Defense Secretary whose fellow servicemembers feel concerned enough about to report as a potential insider threat.”

Yet Warren is now backing Platner, a man who literally wore a Nazi symbol on his skin. Even more damning are reports from former acquaintances who recall Platner identifying the symbol by its German name at a Capitol Hill bar back in 2012. While Platner now claims he was just a “very inebriated” Marine who picked a “terrifying-looking skull” off a wall in Croatia, his own former political director, Genevieve McDonald, wasn’t buying the “oops” defense. She torched him on social media, noting that as a military history buff, Platner “knows damn well what it means.”

Warren’s endorsement of Platner — a man who has also described himself as a “communist” on Reddit and referred to police as “bastards” — exposes the hollow nature of her “principled” stands. When a conservative veteran has a Christian tattoo, Warren sounds the alarm on “extremism.” When a populist Democrat has a Nazi-affiliated tattoo and a history of praising communism, she calls him the “real deal” and a “fighter.”

For Elizabeth Warren, the “threat” isn’t found in the symbols of history’s most hateful regimes; it’s found in anyone who disagrees with her political agenda. If you’re a Republican, a Latin phrase is a hate crime. If you’re a Democrat, a Totenkopf is just a youthful indiscretion.

It’s a masterclass in left-wing cynicism, proving once again that for the senior senator from Massachusetts, “standards” are only something you apply to your enemies.

Fibis I am just an average American. My teen years were in the late 70s and I participated in all that that decade offered. Started working young, too young. Then I joined the Army before I graduated High School. I spent 25 years in, mostly in Infantry units. Since then I've worked in information technology positions all at small family owned companies. At this rate I'll never be a tech millionaire. When I was young I rode horses as much as I could. I do believe I should have been a cowboy. I'm getting in the saddle again by taking riding lessons and see where it goes.
