‘At Least In Somalia They Execute Pedophiles’: Ilhan Omar Suggests Trump Face Death Penalty

Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) has escalated her rhetorical war with President Donald Trump to a new level, labeling him a “pedophile” and suggesting that the United States should follow Somalia’s lead and  “pedophiles.”

On social media, she referred to Trump as the “leader of the Pedophile Protection Party,” attempting to link him to the Jeffrey Epstein files. She then issued a chilling comparison: “At least in Somalia they execute pedophiles not elect them.” The implication—that a sitting U.S. president deserves the death penalty—is the latest  from the radical “Squad” member, who once equated the United States and Israel with the Taliban terrorist group.

The firestorm erupted after Trump turned his sights on the massive fraud scandals currently rocking Minnesota. Speaking during the week of February 9, the president estimated that at least $19 billion has been drained through medical and state assistance fraud, much of it allegedly tied to figures within the Somali community.

“Somalia has come in here—what they’ve done to our country, these people,” Trump stated, specifically targeting Omar. “They’ve come into our country, and what they’ve done with that fake congresswoman. She’s so bad.”

This verbal cage match comes as the Department of Justice and the House Oversight Committee intensify their scrutiny of Omar’s sudden and massive wealth accumulation.

While Omar claimed years ago she was essentially “worth nothing,” recent financial disclosures tell a different story. Her husband, Tim Mynett, has seen the value of his business interests, including a California winery and a capital firm, skyrocket by thousands of percentage points. Estimates now place Omar’s potential net worth north of $44 million.

House Oversight Chairman James Comer (R-KY) has pledged to dig into these “3,500% gains,” though Omar dismisses the inquiry as a “right-wing disinformation campaign.”

Last June, Omar said that the United States was becoming “one of the worst countries” in the world after President Trump and Republican governors deployed the National Guard to quell anti-ICE riots.

For a woman who fled anarchy in Somalia, her preference for Somali-style “justice” over the American electoral process suggests her appreciation for her adopted home remains as thin as her financial explanations.

Fibis I am just an average American. My teen years were in the late 70s and I participated in all that that decade offered. Started working young, too young. Then I joined the Army before I graduated High School. I spent 25 years in, mostly in Infantry units. Since then I've worked in information technology positions all at small family owned companies. At this rate I'll never be a tech millionaire. When I was young I rode horses as much as I could. I do believe I should have been a cowboy. I'm getting in the saddle again by taking riding lessons and see where it goes.
