Singer Billie Eilish is being mocked online for comments she made about “stolen land,” especially as followers point out that she just purchased a $14 million mansion in the Hollywood Hills.

The 24-year-old “Bad Guy” singer stated where she stands on trending issues while accepting the Grammy Award for Song of the Year on Sunday night.
“As grateful as I feel, I honestly don’t feel like I need to say anything, but that no one is illegal on stolen land,” Eilish said from the stage as fellow celebrities cheered and nodded in the crowd.
“’F*ck ICE’ is what I wanna say,” she added.
Social media commenters pointed out the hypocrisy of what she was saying.
“Land cannot be stolen if no one is illegal,” Daily Wire podcast host Matt Walsh wrote.

“The woman is a blithering idiot. Of course, if she really means it, then she’ll happily hand over her multi-million pound Malibu beachfront home to illegal migrants,” British journalist Julia Hartley-Brewer shared. “Which she won’t, because it’s all just silly celeb posturing.”
“You cannot simultaneously believe that (1) all borders are fake and should not be policed, and (2) that land can be ‘stolen.’ This is one of the most braindead beliefs a person can hold,” another person agreed.
“Any white person who does a public ‘stolen land’ acknowledgement should immediately give his or her land to native Americans. Otherwise they don’t mean it,” Senator Mike Lee (R-Utah) posted to X.
“Meanwhile, she’s chilling in her … Hollywood Hills fortress with armed guards and a moat of privilege. If the land’s so stolen, sis, hand over the keys to the nearest tribe or migrant family,” YouTuber Brandon Tatum wrote. “Preach less, practice more.”
The anti-ICE sentiment was strong at the Grammy Awards, with several celebrities showing up wearing “ICE OUT” or “BE GOOD” pins to broadcast their beliefs. Justin Bieber and his wife Hailey Bieber sported the buttons, as did Billie Eilish, Kehlani, Samara Joy, Joni Mitchell, and Jack Antonoff.
Puerto Rican artist Bad Bunny devoted his Grammys acceptance speech to protest ICE.
“Before I say thanks to God, I’m going to say: ICE out,” the singer, whose legal name is Benito Ocasio, said from the stage during the awards ceremony Sunday night.
This isn’t the first time Eilish voiced opinions that got her mocked. In November, the singer called Elon Musk a “f*cking pathetic p*ssy b*tch coward” for not giving away more of his money to her preferred causes.
“If you’re a billionaire, why are you a billionaire? No hate, but yeah, give your money away, shorties,” she said at the time.
