ICE Warns Of Potential Terrorist Attack After Catching Dozens Of Illegal Immigrant Trucker Drivers

The potential for a terrorist attack on United States soil has increased as the federal government uncovers an increasing number of illegal immigrants operating heavy trucks on America’s highways, Acting Immigration and Customs Enforcement Director Todd Lyons said Thursday.

Lyons cited the Biden administration’s open border policy that set millions of “unvetted” illegal migrants free in the U.S. as a cause for concern. ICE had just arrested 146 illegal immigrant truckers on Indiana roads, many of whom carried commercial driver’s licenses (CDLs) issued by sanctuary authorities in Illinois, California, and New York.

“We don’t know what they’re carrying across state lines in an 18-wheeler, terrorists will stop at nothing to harm the United States, and it is well within the realm of possibility that some of these trucks … could be carrying toxic chemicals, bombs, or God knows what,” Lyons said.

The issue of illegal immigrants obtaining CDLs came to light after a dramatic video went viral showing a fatal collision allegedly involving Indian national Harjinder Singh in August. Singh is accused of killing three people after making an illegal U-turn on a Florida turnpike as he sat behind the wheel of an 18-wheeler.

Several other instances of illegal immigrant truckers have since come to light, including a collision in Ontario, California, that killed Pomona High Red Devils assistant basketball coach Clarence Nelson, his wife, Lisa, along with another unidentified victim last year, according to ABC7. The crash also left six-year-old Dalilah Coleman in a coma for three weeks, according to Homeland Security. When Coleman awoke, she was unable to walk, talk, or eat orally.

Dalilah’s father, Marcus Coleman, who is a former truck driver himself, blamed Democratic California Gov. Gavin Newsom for the deadly collision.

“Governor Newsom needs to stand up and be responsible for his constituents instead of sitting there throwing the blame on everybody else,” Coleman told The Daily Wire.

Meanwhile, the Trump administration has instituted a massive crackdown to keep CDLs out of the hands of non-English speakers and illegal immigrants.

Fibis I am just an average American. My teen years were in the late 70s and I participated in all that that decade offered. Started working young, too young. Then I joined the Army before I graduated High School. I spent 25 years in, mostly in Infantry units. Since then I've worked in information technology positions all at small family owned companies. At this rate I'll never be a tech millionaire. When I was young I rode horses as much as I could. I do believe I should have been a cowboy. I'm getting in the saddle again by taking riding lessons and see where it goes.
