“They got in an argument, the father and son,” one source told the Daily Mail. “It got so bad and loud [that] someone wanted to call the police to report it.”

“But Conan stepped in and said, ‘It’s my house, my party, I’m not calling the police.’ He talked them out of calling the police,” the source added.

A second source confirmed the incident and said some guests were concerned about Nick and thought he might need to be placed on a psychiatric hold.

“When the s*** was hitting the fan, somebody said, ‘We need to call the police.’ The conversation was about getting this kid put into a mental-health hold,” the source said. “It makes sense; who wants the cops showing up creating a scene? But the argument between Rob and Nick was pretty intense.”

The star-studded Christmas party was hosted by O’Brien at his Los Angeles-area home last Saturday night, just hours before the bodies of Rob and Michele Reiner were found by their daughter Romy. The couple were reportedly stabbed to death and had their throats slashed.

Nick, 32, has been charged with two counts of first-degree murder in and is currently on suicide watch.

According to reporting from Page Six, Rob Reiner allegedly said at the party that he was “petrified” of his son. “I can’t believe I’m going to say this, but I’m afraid of my son. I think my own son can hurt me,” he allegedly said.

Nick was reportedly creeping out party attendees, including comedian Bill Hader. “Nick was freaking everyone out, acting crazy, kept asking people if they were famous,” one insider told People magazine.

Nick was reportedly diagnosed with schizophrenia just weeks before he allegedly killed his parents. The 32-year-old was placed on a new medication, which made him “erratic and dangerous.” According to a TMZ report, the new meds drove him “out of his head.”

Fibis I am just an average American. My teen years were in the late 70s and I participated in all that that decade offered. Started working young, too young. Then I joined the Army before I graduated High School. I spent 25 years in, mostly in Infantry units. Since then I've worked in information technology positions all at small family owned companies. At this rate I'll never be a tech millionaire. When I was young I rode horses as much as I could. I do believe I should have been a cowboy. I'm getting in the saddle again by taking riding lessons and see where it goes.
