Cuccinelli on Dems’ Scheme to Change Virginia’s Congressional Maps and How to Stop Them

Just hours after Eric Holder’s National Democratic Redistricting Committee deposited $150,000 each in Abigail Spanberger’s campaign account and the Virginia House Democratic Caucus’ coffers, Virginia Democrats began to attempt a scheme so brazen, it boggles the mind.

First, they want to override a constitutional amendment that gives a bipartisan commission of legislators and citizens the authority to draw Virginia’s congressional districts with a new amendment that gives that authority back to the Democrat-controlled Legislature.

Second, to push that proposed amendment forward, they want to create a workaround to circumvent an amendment process that has been in place as long as there’s been a Virginia.

Fibis I am just an average American. My teen years were in the late 70s and I participated in all that that decade offered. Started working young, too young. Then I joined the Army before I graduated High School. I spent 25 years in, mostly in Infantry units. Since then I've worked in information technology positions all at small family owned companies. At this rate I'll never be a tech millionaire. When I was young I rode horses as much as I could. I do believe I should have been a cowboy. I'm getting in the saddle again by taking riding lessons and see where it goes.
