Katy Perry And Justin Trudeau Seen Getting Cozy In Paris, Raise Eyebrows Over Relationship Status

Pop star Katy Perry and former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau were seen holding hands at a cabaret show at Crazy Horse Paris in France, confirming their rumored status as a couple to many on social media.

They were celebrating Perry’s 41st birthday when they were spotted together on Saturday. Photos show the “I Kissed a Girl” singer wearing a form-fitting red dress while walking down the street with Trudeau, 53, who is clad all in black.

Rumors of the two having a romantic relationship date back to the summer, when Trudeau and Perry were seen together in Montreal. Then, earlier this month, images of the couple kissing on her yacht started circulating on social media, though they had been captured earlier in the summer.

“[Perry] pulled up her boat next to a small public whale-watching boat, then they started making out,” a witness reportedly told The Daily Mail about the encounter.

“I didn’t realize who she was with until I saw the tattoo on the guy’s arm, and I immediately realized it was Justin Trudeau.”

Trudeau also attended a concert stop on Perry’s “Lifetimes” tour the following night with his teen daughter, per reports. Videos from the event show Trudeau smiling and singing along enthusiastically to “Firework,” “Roar,” and “Dark Horse,” as The Daily Wire previously reported.

In July, Perry announced she was splitting from her fiancé of six years, Orlando Bloom. The two share a four-year-old daughter.

“Due to the abundance of recent interest and conversation surrounding Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry’s relationship, representatives have confirmed that Orlando and Katy have been shifting their relationship over the past many months to focus on co-parenting,” the statement said at the time. 

“They will continue to be seen together as a family, as their shared priority is — and always will be — raising their daughter [Daisy Dove] with love, stability, and mutual respect.”

Trudeau split from his wife of 18 years in 2023.

Both Trudeau and Perry have experienced negative publicity in recent years. Trudeau resigned from office earlier this year, amidst dissatisfaction from voters over multiple issues such as immigration and the cost of living.

Meanwhile, Perry was mercilessly mocked in April for joining the much-hyped all-female Blue Origin space flight. She was also blasted for her “Lifetimes Tour,” which got terrible reviews. The Grammy Award-winning singer called her critics “unhinged and unhealed.”
