News Anchor Wrecks Kamala Over Covering For Joe Biden: ‘That Was A World Class Pivot’

Australian news anchor Sarah Ferguson did not give former Vice President Kamala Harris an off-ramp during a recent interview, refusing to allow her to sidestep a direct question about former President Joe Biden and his obvious physical and cognitive decline.

Harris has been doing press for a memoir about her abbreviated presidential campaign — a memoir that spares no feelings as she flings blame for her loss in every direction but inward — and she appeared completely unprepared to address what was possibly the most predictable question of the interview.

“Wasn’t Joe Biden, then, to put it on him, wasn’t his refusal to recognize his own frailties the reason that you faced a nearly impossible task?” Ferguson asked.

“I ran against Donald Trump for President,” Harris inexplicably replied. “And Donald Trump ran on a platform that was in large part I believe misrepresenting his intentions to the American people. I do believe that there are a fair number of people that voted for Donald Trump who believed him when he told them that his first priority on day one is going to be to bring down prices, and he didn’t.”

“And you combine that misrepresentation of intention with also what was at play in terms of massive amounts of mis- and disinformation —” Harris dragged the interview further and further down the rabbit hole. “— and a truncated calendar in terms of the clock —”

“Now, I’m — forgive me — want to interrupt you — because that is a world-class pivot, but it is not the question that I asked you, which is about Joe Biden’s failure to recognize his own frailties and what that did to you,” Ferguson cut in and put a stop to Harris’ ramble. “The question is about Joe Biden. Are you still reluctant to criticize the former president?”

“In what regard, please?” Harris asked.

“Just in terms of that question,” Ferguson repeated.

“What exactly would you like to ask? Be more specific, if you don’t mind,” Harris said.

Slowing her speech markedly, Ferguson asked again, “Was it Joe Biden’s decision, his failure to recognize his own frailties in that position, that put you in the position that made it almost impossible to win that race?”

“He was not frail as President of the United States,” Harris insisted.

“But he had frailties. We all saw the debate,” Ferguson pressed.

Harris hesitated briefly before replying, “I do believe that Joe Biden had the capacity to be President of the United States, and I have never doubted that he had the capacity to be President of the United States. If you want to talk about whether he had the ability to endure what a race for President of the United States would require in that political environment in 2024, as I have said in the book, I had concerns.”

Ferguson tried one more time to get a straight answer from Harris: “Yes, but I’m just wondering is there a reason why you won’t go to that prolonged frailty question?”

Fibis I am just an average American. My teen years were in the late 70s and I participated in all that that decade offered. Started working young, too young. Then I joined the Army before I graduated High School. I spent 25 years in, mostly in Infantry units. Since then I've worked in information technology positions all at small family owned companies. At this rate I'll never be a tech millionaire. When I was young I rode horses as much as I could. I do believe I should have been a cowboy. I'm getting in the saddle again by taking riding lessons and see where it goes.
