‘Nothing to Hide’: Trump Changes Tune About Epstein Files

President Donald Trump is now urging House Republicans to vote to release the Epstein files.

He said “we have nothing to hide, and it’s time to move on from this Democrat Hoax perpetrated by Radical Left Lunatics in order to deflect from the Great Success of the Republican Party, including our recent Victory on the Democrat ‘Shutdown.’”

“The Department of Justice has already turned over tens of thousands of pages to the Public on ‘Epstein,’ are looking at various Democrat operatives (Bill Clinton, Reid Hoffman, Larry Summers, etc.) and their relationship to Epstein,” he said, “and the House Oversight Committee can have whatever they are legally entitled to, I DON’T CARE!”

All Trump does care about, he said, is getting Republicans “BACK ON POINT, which is the Economy, ‘Affordability’ (where we are winning BIG!), our Victory on reducing Inflation from the highest level in History to practically nothing, bringing down prices for the American People, delivering Historic Tax Cuts, gaining Trillions of Dollars of Investment into America (A RECORD!), the rebuilding of our Military, securing our Border, deporting Criminal Illegal Aliens, ending Men in Women’s Sports, stopping Transgender for Everyone, and so much more!”

According to Trump, no one cared about Epstein before he died, and the Democrats would have released their evidence, if it existed, connecting Trump to the financier prior to the 2024 election.

“Some ‘members of the Republican Party are being ‘used,’ and we can’t let that happen,” he said. “Let’s start talking about the Republican Party’s Record Setting Achievements, and not fall into the Epstein “TRAP,” which is actually a curse on the Democrats, not us. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”

The House bill to release the Epstein files, which is known as the Epstein Files Transparency Act, was an effort headed up by Rep. Thomas Massie, R-Ky., who is facing primary pressure for his votes against the Republican conference, and Rep. Ro Khanna, D-Calif.

The legislation is co-sponsored by a large number of Democrats and Republicans, ranging from Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., to Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y.

With the newly sworn-in Rep. Adelita Grijalva’s, D-Ariz., signature, the discharge petition met the 218-signature threshold needed to force a vote on the House floor. While the Trump administration and Republican leadership previously resisted congressional efforts to release the Epstein files, Republican leaders in Congress are expecting a large portion of the GOP conference to vote in favor.

If the bill succeeds, it will require the attorney general to “make publicly available in a searchable and downloadable format all unclassified records, documents, communications, and investigative materials in the possession of the Department of Justice, including the Federal Bureau of Investigation and United States Attorneys’ Offices” related to Epstein and his wife, Ghislaine Maxwell. That includes Epstein’s flight logs and internal Justice Department communications.

Fibis I am just an average American. My teen years were in the late 70s and I participated in all that that decade offered. Started working young, too young. Then I joined the Army before I graduated High School. I spent 25 years in, mostly in Infantry units. Since then I've worked in information technology positions all at small family owned companies. At this rate I'll never be a tech millionaire. When I was young I rode horses as much as I could. I do believe I should have been a cowboy. I'm getting in the saddle again by taking riding lessons and see where it goes.
