Now, Democrat congressional candidate Maureen Galindo, who is also a sex therapist, lost a primary runoff for a key House seat in Texas.

Her opponent, Bexar County sheriff’s deputy Johnny Garcia, won the Democratic nomination for Texas’ 35th Congressional District with 64% of the vote on Tuesday, according to KSAT.

Galindo’s campaign previously posted on Instagram that “when Maureen gets into Congress, she’ll write legislation so that all Zionism and support of Zionism is undoubtedly Anti-semitic, since it’s Zionists harming the Semites.”

The post added that she would “turn Karnes ICE Detention Center into a prison for American Zionists and former ICE officers for human trafficking,” adding that it would serve as “a castration processing center for pedophiles which will probably be most of the Zionists.”

She later clarified on her Instagram that the comments did “NOT mean putting all Jews in internment camps.”

Conceding the race Tuesday night, Galindo declared that “Israel won tonight but this is only the beginning for US,” according to The Washington Post.

Garcia wrote on X that while “Republicans tried to meddle in our election … TX Democrats showed that we won’t stand for hate.”

Galindo’s earlier antisemitic post about repurposing ICE detention centers drew criticism from her fellow Democrats.

The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) labeled Galindo as “MAGA Maureen” in a recent ad.

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) called Galindo’s remarks “absolutely disgusting,” adding that “the donors behind the Republican super PAC funding her should be exposed.”

Democratic Reps. Josh Gottheimer (NJ) and Jared Moskowitz (FL) also pledged to expel Galindo from Congress if she won her election.

“My grandmother was part of the kindertransport (sic) out of Berlin. Her parents were killed in Auschwitz. My kids are never going to ‘the camps,'” Moskowitz said in an earlier X post.

I am just an average American. My teen years were in the late 70s and I participated in all that that decade offered. Started working young, too young. Then I joined the Army before I graduated High School. I spent 25 years in, mostly in Infantry units. Since then I've worked in information technology positions all at small family owned companies. At this rate I'll never be a tech millionaire. When I was young I rode horses as much as I could. I do believe I should have been a cowboy. I'm getting in the saddle again by taking riding lessons and see where it goes.
