Stuckey On Shapiro Speech: ‘Clarity Is A Gift That You Give People’

“Relatable” podcast host Allie Beth Stuckey told The Daily Wire during a pre-show interview at TPUSA’s AmericaFest that Daily Wire co-founder Ben Shapiro’s speech offered “clarity,” adding that there “isn’t a bit of cowardice” in the conservative.

“I think clarity is kindness, and clarity is a gift that you give people,” Stuckey said. “I love that with Ben, we don’t have to guess what he’s thinking, that he is going to say explicitly, exactly what he’s thinking, and there isn’t a bit of cowardice in him.”

Shapiro’s speech was well-received at AmFest. The podcast host told the large crowd to practice discernment when it comes to media consumption and defended Charlie Kirk’s widow Erika Kirk and the TPUSA team while rebuking others in the media space for failing to do the same.

Specifically, Shapiro outlined “five obligations” that prominent conservative voices owe their audience in a time of an “anarchic informational environment” where the legacy media is no longer the gatekeeper. Those obligations are truth, principle, responsibility, evidence, and solutions, he said.

“We owe you the truth,” Shapiro told the AmFest crowd. “That means we should not mislead you; it means we shouldn’t hide the ball; we shouldn’t be deliberately obscure about what we are telling you.”

Stuckey also promoted the free debate of ideas, noting that it was good for hosts Megyn Kelly and Tucker Carlson to also be able to speak at AmFest.

“I appreciate that we, very uniquely, have a place at AmericaFest that truly allows and supports those who want to get up and say their piece, unapologetically,” Stuckey said.

The “Relatable” host also told The Daily Wire that her fans — mostly comprised of young women and mothers — view the Islamification of the West as the greatest threat we currently face.

“Islam is incompatible with Western Civilization, and it’s about time that we start seeing that and saying that,” she said.

Notably, following Carlson’s AmFest speech on Thursday, Stuckey posted on X that the host was wrong about some of his remarks regarding Islam. “Tucker has spent years rightfully lambasting the elite political class for making decisions that negatively impact regular people,” she said. “Yet, because it doesn’t affect him, he’s completely dismissive of the Islamification of the American suburb, gaslighting us into being okay with the domination of a religion responsible for the lion’s share of the world’s terrorism. No.”

Fibis I am just an average American. My teen years were in the late 70s and I participated in all that that decade offered. Started working young, too young. Then I joined the Army before I graduated High School. I spent 25 years in, mostly in Infantry units. Since then I've worked in information technology positions all at small family owned companies. At this rate I'll never be a tech millionaire. When I was young I rode horses as much as I could. I do believe I should have been a cowboy. I'm getting in the saddle again by taking riding lessons and see where it goes.
