The Puerto Rican-born performer won the Grammy for Best Música Urbana Album for “Debí Tirar Más Fotos.”

“Before I say thanks to God, I’m going to say: ICE out,” the singer, whose legal name is Benito Ocasio, said from the stage during the awards ceremony Sunday night. The crowd of celebrities responded with thunderous applause.

“We are not savage. We are not animals. We are not aliens. We are humans, and we are Americans … the hate gets more powerful with more hate,” he continued. “The only thing that is more powerful than hate is love. So, please, we need to be different. If we fight, we have to do it with love. Yeah. We don’t hate them. We love our people, we love our family, and that’s the way to do it, with love. Don’t forget that, please.”

Several other Grammys attendees were spotted wearing “ICE OUT” and “BE GOOD” pins to show their support for anti-ICE activism. This is not the first time Ocasio has voiced his opinion on the matter.

Ocasio previously referred to ICE agents as “motherf***ers” and “sons of b****es” in a video he posted to Instagram.

The three-time Grammy Award-winner said during an interview that he didn’t book any tour stops in the United States because he was worried ICE agents would target concert attendees.

“There was the issue of — like, f***ing ICE could be outside. And it’s something that we were talking about and very concerned about,” he said.

NFL commissioner Roger Goodell defended selecting Bad Bunny as the halftime performer at Super Bowl LX after significant backlash following the announcement last fall.

“It’s carefully thought through,” Goodell said of the performance, as The Daily Wire previously reported. “I’m not sure we’ve ever selected an artist where we didn’t have some blowback or criticism. It’s pretty hard to do when you have literally hundreds of millions of people that are watching.”

“We’re confident it’s going to be a great show,” the commissioner added. “[Ocasio] understands the platform that he’s on, and I think it’s going to be exciting and a united moment.”

Fibis I am just an average American. My teen years were in the late 70s and I participated in all that that decade offered. Started working young, too young. Then I joined the Army before I graduated High School. I spent 25 years in, mostly in Infantry units. Since then I've worked in information technology positions all at small family owned companies. At this rate I'll never be a tech millionaire. When I was young I rode horses as much as I could. I do believe I should have been a cowboy. I'm getting in the saddle again by taking riding lessons and see where it goes.
