Trump And Mark Cuban’s White House Moment Takes Unexpected Turn
President Donald Trump cracked up a crowd on Monday, when he poked fun at billionaire Mark Cuban during a major TrumpRx announcement.

Trump’s administration has teamed up with Cuban and his company, Cost Plus Drugs, to bring Americans hundreds of drugs at much lower direct-to-consumer costs via TrumpRx. When the president was asked about working with Cuban, Trump quipped that it was a “big mistake” for the Dallas Mavericks minority owner to back Democrat Kamala Harris during the 2024 election.
“It’s pretty remarkable seeing you and Mark Cuban up there — the fact that Mark obviously endorsed Kamala Harris back in 2024,” a reporter said to Trump.
“Well, he made a mistake — it was a big mistake,” the president quickly responded, drawing laughter from the crowd.
Trump went on to say that both he and Cuban “love people” and “love our country.”
“He’s got a good company, he’s gonna get a lot of business with this, and I’m gonna get drugs out,” the president added.

For his part, Cuban praised Trump for making TrumpRx happen. “Other than you,” Cuban said to the president, “I’ve been the biggest proponent of TrumpRx.gov. And the reason for that is, Republicans want cheaper drugs, independents want cheaper drugs, Democrats want cheaper drugs — and together, I think we’re going to do something special.”
Americans can use TrumpRx.gov and find Cuban’s Cost Plus Drugs. Cuban said those drugs are currently only marked up 15%, a significantly lower cost than consumers typically pay. The entrepreneur added that teaming up with TrumpRx will add “volume” to Cost Plus Drugs, which in turn will make drug prices even lower going forward.
“This is a special announcement. This is a special partnership,” Cuban added. “We’re really excited to be part of this.”

TrumpRx launched back in early February, with dozens of drugs listed at discounted prices for Americans. Now, the site offers more than 600 drugs at direct-to-consumer costs.
Some of the most regularly used medications added to TrumpRx include cholesterol medication Atorvastatin, diabetes drug Metformin, blood thinner Clopidogrel, and drugs often used for weight loss, like Ozempic, Wegovy, and Zepbound.

I am just an average American. My teen years were in the late 70s and I participated in all that that decade offered. Started working young, too young. Then I joined the Army before I graduated High School. I spent 25 years in, mostly in Infantry units. Since then I've worked in information technology positions all at small family owned companies. At this rate I'll never be a tech millionaire. When I was young I rode horses as much as I could. I do believe I should have been a cowboy.
